“Today was my first experience with an indoor range. Typically I visit unmanned ranges available at conservation areas. From start to finish my experience here was top notch! All of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was truly a no pressure experience as well. Once informed that I was unfamiliar with indoor range protocol, each staff member i interacted with more than friendly with advice and how things functioned. The lanes were great and I loved being able to set my specific range and be right on the mark with automatic system. If you're looking for a top notch indoor range this is the place. “Five stars for the staff – Zero for the customer who endangered everyone
This was my very first visit to The Range, and while it started off as a pleasant experience, I witnessed something deeply unsettling. A customer began screaming profanities at multiple staff members and berating (what appeared to be) his wife, who seemed visibly frightened and repeatedly apologized on his behalf. His behavior was aggressive, erratic, and absolutely terrifying especially considering we were in an environment surrounded by firearms.
Despite the chaos and danger of the situation, the staff remained calm, composed, and highly professional. They handled the outburst with restraint and maturity, quickly de-escalating the situation and removing the individual from the premises. I commend them for keeping everyone safe and maintaining control under extremely stressful circumstances.
Frankly, it was a disturbing reminder that not everyone who walks into a gun store should be allowed to own a gun. The man’s unstable and violent demeanor was not just inappropriate it was dangerous.
Kudos to The Range for having a team that puts safety first and sets a high bar for professionalism. I feel much better knowing this is the kind of staff handling firearms and customers in our community.”
“It's a great little sportsman store. They got a wide selection everything from fishing equipment to guns to clothing. I think they even have some rafts and stuff like that. Prices seem pretty fair and the staff is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. I probably buy something from them once or twice a year and have been for years. Overall it's a good store.”

“I was helped by Jason who helped me find what I wanted very quickly. He showed me a couple options and stayed patient since I was new to owning a CCW. He made the whole process straight forward and helped me find a suitable choice for a southpaw the Rost Martin RM1c. Its a dream and I’m grateful they had such a wide selection. They also have some decent ammo prices and my only hope is they start carrying more holster options but that’s kind of what Amazon was created for. “These guys are great. I definitely can't make regular visits and purchases from these guys, but when I do get a chance to do business with them, they are always nice, knowledgeable, and try to get me the best deals possible. I have not been able to visit these guys for five years, a little before I became permanently disabled and could no longer afford firearm purchases. At that time, I had ordered two firearms for my two daughters' birthdays, had Razorback take delivery, and had Razorback do the transfer and background check paperwork. Now, I still am not as financially stable as I was, but I had promised my oldest child, my Marine son, a specific handgun for when he returned home after his 4 year deployment, was stateside, and could keep it with him. I had looked all over the St. Louis, MO region, making phone calls, sending emails and texts, and visiting several places that had stated they had better prices and some who stated would price match anyone in a 100 mile radius of St. Louis. No one had it in stock or would order it for the price they stated. I feel bad because I should have just gone back to Razorback in the first place. I went in with my wife and two daughters, today, May 27, 2026 to make inquiries about the specific firearm. I am sorry I forgot the gentleman's name who helped me. I do believe he was the same gentleman who had helped me in the past. Now, I have the information I need, and I will be back in the next couple of weeks to make the order. I wish there was some way that I could visit these guys more often to make firearm and ammunition purchases, but I know I will not forget to go to them first every time from now on to make any firearm purchase.
