Nice large Macy's! Though selection could be better in some clothing departments, everything else is usually great!

DO NOT BUY DIAMONDS FROM MACY'S!!!! They will not give us a refund and THEY HAVE THE RING!!!!!!!!!!! I am very angry. All we want is a refund. My mom was shipped a diamond ring after a few weeks of it being purchased (over $6,000) and she liked it but it was too big. She took it to the store and the sales person said it can be resized. They ship it off to a third party company to do it. The sales person also told her it can be refunded within so many days. So the ring is sent off and doesn't come back for several weeks. Once it does, the diamonds look different. Black spots and poor coloring. My mom only had it for a week as she lives an hour from the store. Once she took it back to show the sales person and manager, they said she can not get a refund and they would only do credit towards another ring "To make this right". We will never trust buying jewelry from Macys and said "no, I want a refund". The manager refused. The manager took the ring to send off to the same third party company it came from. That has been weeks and we have been trying to do everything in our power to get the refund. The credit card company told us to contact the Attorney General office to start the investigation of fraud on Macy's part. She hates the ring, they have the ring somewhere with the third party company, and they will not give a refund- just another poor quality ring. This has been the worst experience. My mom is older and I am trying to help her out. If anyone else knows of a class action law suit against Macy's please message me. If anyone else had this same experience, we can let the Attorney General office know too. I know there will probably be some generic company response to this review. I don't care what they say. They have the ring and the only way to make this "RIGHT" is to just give a refund. That's not so hard.

Talk about a store that is going under quick. Good luck trying to get ahold of someone on any of there "customer service lines". From credit cards to in store service.... Horrible

If you plan on ever coming to Macys and buying anything make sure you don't need to return it otherwise the manager Linda in returns won't give you you're money back. I bought two pairs of shoes from macys backstage two weeks ago and they weren't the right size. I went to return them and Linda refused to take them back even with me having a valid receipt, with the sales tags and strings still attatched, and within the return period. She told me they look like they've been worn and then continued to have a disrespectful attitude towards me and my mother in law. I'm not sure if she's racist but every time I've had an encounter with her I've noticed how she treats other black people versus anyone else but her own race. I've always seen her behind the counter even with a huge line of people doing nothing but standing there with a rude look and a snobby attitude. Macys I understand you're short staffed but you don't need to promote disrespectful people like this into managers unfortunately.

The ordering experience was fine. But if you do a drive up order -- check your items before leaving. I learned my lesson. I did a curbside pick up on a pair of Uggs. I was sold a pair of CLEARLY used Uggs. Creases in them -- creases in Ugg boots come from someone wearing them -- there were also a couple stains on the boots -- hair & sock fuzz inside of the both boots -- and no paper/cardboard inside of them. If they had of checked the shoes before bringing them, it's clear as day that these weren't new. I was given my money back but still.

Update. I only contacted Macy's to find out who to speak to regarding the warranty company. I used the warranty company to report damage. I DID INPUT a service order to the actual warranty company with many photos. . I did not receive word back and had to call the WOW company a few times. It was then I was told their over 30 day rule which was not stated on contract. The issue I have with Macy's is that Macy's needs to choose a better warranty company or stand behind its customers. This contract "rule " is not fair and especially during these unprecedented times. The salesmen push a warranty package, yet it's an inferior product.

Better than Galleria Macy's, but still kind of feral. The employees here are wily and elusive. When I finally captured one for questioning, they said to try Chesterfield Macy's for better stock, because "it's basically abandoned and nobody shops there anymore."

Your pin for this should be dropped on the map where it is in the mall

I love Macy's, always have, and I shop there often. I SO hope they don't close all the stores to satisfy the people who like to sit at home and order things without trying them on or seeing them in person! Sometime it is pretty hard to find a salesperson, but lately it seems to be better. Most of the sales people that I run into are very friendly as well. I like all the sales, special offers and Macy's money. My only complaint is the pickup area for online orders. I do usually prefer to shop in the store, but since I have a weird shoe size I have to order my shoes. I've ordered quite a few lately and I'm unhappy with the way it's done. The sign overhead specifically says that it's for online orders, returns, and a couple of other things, but not for purchasing items. The woman who is usually working there is very sweet, and she does a good job, but she's also slow. There have been two times now when I waited for someone to unload a bunch of clothes, plus a return, plus advice from the salesperson on what they should wear with the clothes, while a long line builds up. I'm assuming this associate has been told to go ahead and let people buy things there just for good customer service, but this is supposed to be a pickup area. The last time I waited in line she was having a long conversation with a gentleman who didn't seem to care that there were several of us waiting in back of him after he finished his transaction. Not her fault, true, but there should be at least one person who handles nothing but online orders. There are sometimes other people there, but lately it's been only one person. I have never run into this problem at the Chesterfield store, and I could go back to picking things up there, but it's closer to go to Macy's at West County. Just a suggestion to better serve those who really need to pick something up.

Now I remember why I shop on amazon. Traversed half the store to find a checkout that was staffed. When I got there I was next in line. After waiting 10 minutes while the associate was on the phone trying to figure out the customer's gift card I just set my items down and left. The least the associate could have done was let me know it would be a while and point me to an alternate checkout. I will not be back. Very difficult and frustrating trying to purchase from them.

This is my favorite local store--I shop there often--I'm even a Platinum Macy's shopper. It was very disheartening to shop there today and endure rude treatment from the volunteer Jewish Women's International charity organization that is doing gift wrapping in the store for shoppers. They ignored me, were unfriendly and never once acknowledged me or asked to help me. I really like shopping here but I do not need my shopping trip ruined by people who are there to make it better or should be there to make it better --not worse. I did relate this to the manager on duty but my shopping in Macy's today was OVER. The associates at this store do a great job every day--gift wrappers running regular shoppers out of the store upset is not something they need.

Macy's is going downhill - with the rest of the retail industry - if I may be so blunt. There are plenty of clothes and items in stock, as you would've seen this place in the early 2000s, but good luck finding someone to help you in a fitting room, or even finding someone to check out your purchase. This is the sad state of retail as we know it: people are shopping online and not visiting malls. And Macy's is reacting by retaining fewer staff on the floors. Macy's is hurting for business, and therefore not hiring enough associates to properly serve the individuals actually still loyal to shopping "IRL" in the malls. Shopping here is pretty irritating... but I appreciate trying things on in person before making a purchase.

Not fond of the customer service today. I went to multiple locations inside of Macy's to ask questions. 2 stops I made were at the Mac makeup section and the men's colon. My goodness they acted as if I was inconveniencing them by asking a question. God for bid I actually knew what I needed at the Mac store and this girl made me wait 10 minutes to check me out because there was a customer asking millions of questions. I literally needed one lipstick. It would've been quicker to check me out so she didn't make me stand there forever. I was totally mad. Idk how many questions that someone may have it was just super rude how she addressed me. I tried to be polite and curious. But this girl needed an attitude check... seriously. And then I walked down stairs after I got done at Mac and the ladies at the men's cologne looked bored beyond all measure and seemed uninviting. I asked what the specials were going to be for the upcoming holidays to get gift ideas for the men in my life and they acted like I was wasting their time. Not thrilled today in the slightest. Macy's needs to work on customer service training with their employees. End of story.
