Very excellent work and a shop that’s actually there to help you and not just make money off of you. This will be my forever auto shop. I appreciate everything they did for me. They put on shocks and struts for me and had it back to me the same day and at a great price.

The main repair they did to my car seems to be ok but i was charged for something they didnt do that needed to be fixed, they were supposed to call me about making it right. Ive never heard from them. Bad business guys

it cost $3000 to get my grandmas car fixed and it went into THIS shop almost a YEAR ago and it is still in there. Horrible place to take your car. I also know someone else’s car who has been sitting there for a very long time. Please don’t take your vehicle here unless you want it to sit in there little show off lot for a year. $3000 to waste that my church raised and no ounce of effort to try and fix it on their part it seems. My grandma has been completely heartbroken with the treatment she has been getting from them. Good for the peoples cars they do fix but over a year is disrespectful and horrible. My grandma has been without a car too long now. This place should be ashamed of themselves.

I cannot thank Charlie and his staff enough!! I should have written this review last year, but better late than never. Last August, my husband, our two dogs and I were traveling along highway 60 on our way to Chattanooga, TN. We were 20 minutes outside of Dexter, MO when my car’s air conditioner started blowing hot air. We were over 5 hours from home and it was 98 degrees outside.Turned down for help by the Auto Zone and Walmart automotive department in town, I was feeling pretty defeated when I called Advantage Automotive. I called 15 minutes before they closed and expected to be turned away. I explained our situation and the office lady said to bring my car right over and they would take a look. We were treated with kindness the second we arrived. It didn’t take them long to confirm that my AC compressor needed replaced.I immediately thought we’d have no luck getting that replaced in time to continue on our vacation. But Charlie was able to locate a compressor in Springfield and overnight it to his shop. He said it would be in around 8am and they could complete the work by 12pm. We had to stay one night in Dexter, but were so relieved!! Charlie even gave us hotel recommendations and explained where all the restaurants were in town.The next morning two people from the shop came to our hotel and picked up my car then brought it back to us when the work was finished. We were blown away by the generosity of everyone here. They could have very easily told us no or been too booked up to not squeeze us in, but they all went above and beyond! Thank you!I recommend Advantage Automotive to anyone in the area!

Absolutely wonderful place to go get your car fixed. Very trustworthy people and fair prices. If something happens after you pick your car back up, they will put your car right back in and figure it out. Once we had a timing chain mess up on our blazer. He came to our house on a Sunday and worked on our vehicle. Never have I ever had a mechanic care enough to do that. So now that's the only shop I ever go to for my vehicles. I trust them 100% .
