My husband and I, and our dogs, went to get away for a few days and found so much more than we expected. Tom and Kathy were friendly and very welcoming and did a great job orientating us to the cabin (Turkey Ridge), and then left us to enjoy! The cabin was immaculate and very comfortable. The views amazing, the night skies were spectacular and the silence was golden. Three days was not long enough and we will be back. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven on earth with us.

My husband and I stayed at Turkey Ridge with our 2 dogs for my birthday. We left the computer at home and just relaxed the entire weekend. The view was spectacular and the location was so peaceful and serene. Can't wait to come back!!

I will start off that the owners are super nice. We stayed at the Indian Hills Cabin. 3 bedrooms, 2 have AC. Cabin is stocked with everything you need. They even gave you fire wood. The view is amazing. The only real downfall is that I think the back yard could have been mowed and unkept better as the grass and weeds were long. This is where we let our dogs out to go to the restroom and caused one of our dogs to have an allergic reaction and forced us to leave a night early as we had to take him to the vet. After research we found out that it was a fern that he sniffed which can be toxic to dogs and there are several in the back yard all over. So my only suggestion is for them to do something about the ferns as it is suppose to be a dog friendly location and there are numerous of them right outside the back door growing wild. I know we are out in the woods but the plants were literally in the back yard portion not the wood portion.

Best weekend camping I've ever had. And this is after 12 years as a Boy Scout (Eagle Scout 1992). Cannot recommend enough!

This is my favorite place to go for a relaxing vacation or weekend. Peaceful doesn’t begin to describe it. The hosts are warm and friendly and make you feel at home. You don’t miss modern conveniences because the cabins are designed to make being off-grid seem luxurious. Stop in, you won’t be sorry.

We have been coming here for years and we love it! It's the perfect country getaway. We have stayed at all their facilities except Line Camp. This trip was Indian Bluff Cottage. Modern conveniences, privacy, and a fantastic view of the river valley.

I love these cabins on the Gasconade river. We stayed in Indian Bluffs in the completely secluded 3bedroom, 1 bath. Full kitchen with a spectacular view from the bluff of the valley below. Owners are the nicest people. Looks like all cabins have a front porch swing and a fire ring and they provided the wood. Just can't wait to come

My family and I stayed at Aunt Phoebe's in May and we loved the off grid experience and the property so much we wanted to go there for Labor Day weekend, but it was already booked so we stayed at Indian Bluff House Cottage. I am so glad we did. I had no idea how grand the view was from the bluffs that are just a couple of minutes walk from the cottage. I had seen pictures, but it is definitely much more magnificent in person. The cottage was nice and well stocked . We enjoyed the decor and all the books. The first night and day we were there it rained a lot. We enjoyed the tin roof singing from the rain. The kids watched a lot of Hulu , after the rain stopped ,we did manage to get them out for a few walks, and a weenie roast.I found some oyster mushrooms on one of our walks and added them to some scrambled eggs we seen some deer and turkey. The second morning the whole valley filled with fog it wasbeautiful. Also we went into Dixon to Country Mart it was a well stocked nice store and we decided next time we will go there instead of packing food with us.So even though I didn't get the off grid experience ,It was a wonderful stay. And now I am torn between which cabin to stay at next time and I have booked for Aunt Phoebe's next April and Indian Bluff House next July..........I can hardly wait to go back.

This cozy cabin away from every thing is exactly the break my husband and I needed. While it was too cold for many of the outdoor activities, the views were beautiful and the accommodations clean and comfortable. We look forward to many more trips here.

Rock Eddy is a 10/10 must stay destination. We stayed for 5 days at Turkey Ridge with two young kids ( 7 & 4 ) We had plenty to do to keep entertained but not so much it was overwhelming. Kathy, Heather, and their families were so kind and helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Great idyllic place to take the family and escape. Stunning views of the Gasconade River, plenty for the kids to explore, cozy and well provisioned cabin, and so much wildlife! We'll be back for sure! We'll definitely be back. Our hosts were great too, checking us in promptly, in the rain even. Turns out we didn't need to trouble them for anything the whole time, thanks to the cabin being awesome and Tom's pointers about things to do.

We had a wonderful weekend at Turkey Ridge. We were recently married and there was a note written on the chalkboard welcoming the newlyweds. Such a sweet touch and nice attention to detail. This family-owned piece of heaven in the woods is a regular escape for me and my wife. It is familiar and comforting and we look forward to it twice each year!

A Country Christmas! We spent a relaxing Christmas at Turkey Ridge this year. It exceeded our expectations. The cabin was cozy and turn key. The kitchen was fully furnished, everything anyone would need. We had internet and steaming on a flat screen TV with a perfect picture. The beds were comfortable with quality linens. The view was gorgeous. The temperature dipped down into single digits overnight. In spite of this, we were warm and cozy and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas.
