This place is a joke. Took 2 weeks to get a flag posted just to end up getting a po box. I've filled out FIVE change of addresses for my husband and I, and we still only ever RARELY get packages or mail to our $90/year PO BOX. Theyve managed to lose 3 social security cards since ive moved here. My husband and I have 8-5 jobs so its impossible to get packages unless its between the hours of 8-11am on Saturday. Drivers refuse to deliver packages to doorstep. This place really needs to get their act together. Id rather pay more to ship fedex than use this USPS.

I literally watched the delivery driver pull in my drive way about to get out with my box and drove back out and never came back. My small dog was outside sitting on the porch, not barking at him either. And it was my box in fact!

I just moved back to Dixon to the house I inherited from my Mom who inherited it from her Aunt. Because they were both disabled, and had only one car they parked in the garage, they had them put the mailbox in the driveway. I lived with them both the last few years of their lives. My Mom would never let anyone park there before the mail ran because she said they wouldn't deliver the mail. Boy, was she right. My son and I just moved in on Friday. Packages had been delivered and were on the porch when we got here. But Saturday morning, the postal carrier failed to put any of our packages on the porch because my son was parked in front of the mailbox. First, let me emphasize, none of these packages could even fit inside the mailbox, so what difference does it make if it was blocked. Secondly, being of a curious nature, i looked it up on the official USPS (United States Post Office) official website whice reads exactly as follows: Mailbox blockage by a vehicle may also prevent the delivery of mail. According to our policy, the city or rural carrier should get out of the vehicle to make delivery if the mailbox is temporarily blocked by a vehicle. However, if the carrier continually experiences a problem in serving curb line or rural boxes where the customer is able to control on street parking, the postmaster may withdraw delivery service. Now since when is one time deemed as continous? The mail carrier was just too lazy to get out of their vehicles, put the mail in my box, if any, and put my packages on my porch! Period! Welcome home to me!

I am new to the area and for several days my package has been marked as out for delivery, then it was updated to "The receiver does not want the product and refused delivery". Really? I have been waiting on this for over 2 weeks, and I freaking work from home! AND I have Nest Cameras, a Nest doorbell and have package delivery alerts activated. This is by far the worst experience with shipping ever! To top all of this off, I have received all of my packages from Amazon, UPS, FedEx no problem, but this one package was dropped at the post office and this is the result.

I have had a package trying to be delivered to me for 3 weeks now, it got sent back once due to “incorrect address” I had to pay $8 in shipping to get it shipped back to me and now I get a notice stating that the package did not have my correct address on it. Yet they wrote on my mailbox the address in sharpie instead of waiting a day or two for me to put my numbers on it. So I guess my PO BOX in Crocker isn’t such a bad idea to keep? This is getting ridiculous and I’ve been here almost a year.

For the past three business days item we ordered shows online that it was received at the Dixon Post Office and is out for delivery but not delivered. I called Dixon Post Office with tracking number and They said they will call me back. As of today (another two business days) no one has called. Now a full week has passed.

For the past week every package has been "Out for Delivery" and not delivered with no slip saying to pick it up. I don't know what the problem is with this post office. When I looked on my informed delivery it said that a delivery attempt was made while I was still home. Definitely didn't happen.

The delivery is by far the WORST! My mail lady can't even drive not even a football field down to my house to deliver a package. Instead she just takes it back to the post office and doesn't even bother to leave me a slip to let me know I have a package there. WORST POST OFFICE EVER. Where I'm from they take pride in their job and I'll always appreciate them because the postal service here is a JOKE!

The people that work in this post office must me the laziest people in all of Missouri. We sent a Christmas package to our daughter with her home address on the package and they would not put in her PO box because the box number was not on the package(really hard to look up the box holder). They are returning the package to Washington State so that we can put the PO number on the package and re-mail it. We checked with our local postmaster and he informed us that they would have cross-referenced the number and left a message in their box informing them of the package. He also said this was a directive from the Postmaster General. Now if you think our postmaster would have done this just because we live in a small town you are wrong. Dixon and our city are the same size. Thanks for nothing lazy Dixon postal workers

I was upset that they would not help me out with their mess up with three of my orders. This is not acceptable and they did nothing to help me out. They avoided answering my questions when I asked them what they had done to follow up on the problem they caused. A bit frustrated, and I will do anything possible to avoid having my items shipped to me through them again. Which makes me sad. Please try! That is all we want.
