We have driven by this place for many years and decided to stop in. We go on many road trips and always enjoy old general stores and antique shops.
I would not classify this establishment as a general store—it’s more like a throwback to Sanford & Son without Fred’s personality. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a Dauchsin locked in a display case with a little dog bed. The owner came in shortly, put his other Dauchsin in there, opened his laptop, and fixed his eyes on the security camera feeds so we didn’t steal anything. My two young children and I are pretty sketchy, I guess.
There is a little bit of everything here. The prices are very high for what they are. I mean, VERY high. As we were finishing up, I said, “Hello! How are you?” to the owner. The guy didn’t even bother to look up and gave the least little nod you have ever seen. I put our items down and left.

This is a cute little treasure hidden away in the little town of Dutzow, MO. This shop has two floors packed full of things for sale. There are new items, vintage items, antique items and weird/unusual things. If you need a gift, you could find one here. It is close to the Katie Trail. So if you need something stop on in. It is a gift/treasure shop, not groceries. But there are some little snacks in case you have a sweet tooth. There are different vendor booths, too. The prices are reasonable. Every time I go, there are different things that have been added. It is definitely worth the stop.
