I've moved more than two dozen times and this is the absolute worst moving experience I've ever encountered. The packers didn't want to pack nor did they even know what it was they were there to pack. They stated it was the mover's job to pack a lot of what we asked them to pack. The movers were then mad at the packers, and blamed the lack of packing on them. They actually called the packer "no pack Jack" Nothing was covered, wrapped or protected. Our wood floors weren't protected until I called it out. Their biggest concern was getting out on time. They even lied on their time sheet saying they were on the job longer than they were. I brought this up to the supervisor who then acted like it was our responsibility to monitor their time. We moved 4 miles and had extensive damage. NO ONE will return my calls and our claim was denied because we submitted it late (after being told we could have additional time due to the nature of our move) I have a voicemail from Curt saying we could have additional time. I've been promised multiple times by Curt that I would receive a follow up call from his boss. I have text messages stating that I will receive a follow up call. I'm still waiting... 4 months later. We had extensive damage to our furniture. No one cares!! Do not use this company if you value your belongings and want to be treated with respect. The claims manager was an absolute A$$ and belittled me and everything I had to say. He literally said to me "Are you done yet?" while trying to explain the issues that we encountered. Never have I been treated in such a disrespectful manner by every single layer of service that we encountered. Go elsewhere. Moving is stressful enough. You don't need this additional stress in your life. And to the Cord moving team, I'm nowhere close to being done. I will shout this from the rooftops until you take responsibility for the horrific experience that we encountered from your company.

This company was the one chosen for my military move and if I could have given them a zero star rating I would have. The individuals were completely unprofessional the entire time, cussed, had poor hygiene, argued with QAQC, improperly packed and shoved items into items, stuff shoes and miscellaneous items into drawers which ultimately broke many items. However, this is not the worst part. When we received our items that many were broken, as the couch was being unloaded the m

Feels like our family's belongings, which are costing a small fortune to move, are being held hostage. Truck was packed for move from St Louis on Monday 8/9. We were given estimated delivery window (in Boston) of 8/13-8/21. No delivery yet (as of 8/25) and all they can tell us is "there's no driver available." Cord is an agent of North American Van Lines, whose customer service representatives have been rude and unhelpful. Not sure when we'll see our belongings. Would give negative stars if I could. Would be willing to adjust this review if Cord or NAVL made amends immediately and gave a reasonable and accurate estimate of delivery date w/in next 24 hours! Otherwise, steer clear of Cord & NAVL!

Had a great moving experience from the midwest to the east coast. The packers arrived on time and did a great job packing. Next day, the loaders came and everything was in the truck by end of day. Four days and 800+ miles later, our stuff arrived and the crew brought everything in as directed. Everyone was polite and professional. I highly recommend Cord/North American moving. They were also the cheapest bid. Big thanks!

Military assigned us these movers in St Robert and they were horrible! I caught them stomping on my bed and they were complaining the entire time about how much stuff we had. They kept taking breaks and littered all over our front yard. DO NOT USE THESE PPl!

Carl and his Crew just got through packing us up here at Fort Riley! I can not say how awesome they all were! These guys never stopped! They just kept on going on I was impressed with there work ethic! I was really worried about someone else moving us because I have always done it myself. I actually hid a lot because of the newness of someone else moving us! I’m getting older and just did not have the energy or stress level to want to move it ourselves again! These guys went

Had an amazing experience with Cord Moving & Storage during our PCS move. Our HHGs had to be stored and since it was around Christmas, we didn't expect to get our HHGs delivered soon. Cord's delivered our HHGs on a Sat because they didn't want us to go through Christmas without our goods. The team that arrived at our home was on time, were very courteus, and professional at all times.

At the end of August Baden Moving and Storage, the Dixon MO office of Cord Moving and Storage. When I arrived at the old house they had left a ton of boxes and packing paper, I started to go through and realized there were closets and pantries that hadn't been packed at all. There were drink containers and other things that were left empty on the counters. Still I tried to be understanding so I just packed the rest myself, took there boxes to the curb and came to my new house to start unpacking. I knew some furniture was broken, my big armoire, a couple of bookshelves and a kitchen caddy, but when I started unpacking boxes the damage was much worse. They hadn't used packing paper on anything other than the dishes, and they packed the glass dishes under the cast iron, everything glass I owned was shattered. They packed picture frames and shadow boxes with no padding, a shadow box I had made for my husband's alive day was damaged and all of his plaques were scraped. The tv stand was turned upside down and reattached causing scrapes, the knife my husband carried with him in Afghanistan and a laser pointer for power point were both missing from their boxes and still haven't turned up. But probably the worst of all, and the part that REALLY got to me. They had crumpled all of my husbands citations and awards as if they were packing paper, his Purple Heart Citation was removed from the folder and literally crumbled like trash, I have straightedges it out as much as possible, but I was so shocked by that especially. Bottles of alcohol that were previously unopened were empty and thrown in, the armoire literally had stuff thrown in it and the doors taped shut... there is so much damage, so much that can not be replaced. I called Baden Moving and storage and was told by Debbie I needed to keep everything so they could come see for themselves, to which I said fine but I had thrown the shattered glass away because I have kids and dogs but had taken pics. She caught an attitude with me because I had trashed literally shattered glass. They sent a nice man out to look at everything, and talk about what it is worth. I told him the PH citation and other crumpled awards were irreplaceable as well as the knife my husband carried while deployed. His reply was that they just needed a price for the things that were broken, and that the knife and laser pointer, as well as the empty bottles of alcohol could not be included because I couldn't PROVE that it was their packers who were responsible for any of that. He did seem bothered by the way things had been packed, but kept assuring me this was not the norm for that team. Fast forward a week, I called Baden again to see what the next steps were and Debbie told me it was sitting on her desk, and that they technically had 60 days to respond but that she didn't want things on her desk that long so she would look at it that week. I called again today to see what the next step was, would I get a call, or email? Debbie said she took the last week off so she hadn't done much with it, but that they were looking at everything and I would get a letter with a check for an amount they feel like they owe. She was obviously annoyed by my calling and I didn't hang up feeling this time, or any other, like they were actually sorry for the things that had been damaged. There is no amount of money that can replace some of what was lost. Even having a new citation printed wouldn't really take away that the original received was damaged due to carelessness, I have been asked repeatedly "well what do you want us to do about it?". I want a heart felt apology and assurance that they aren't going to treat other Service Member's belongings with this amount of carelessness, and I want them to actually take responsibility for the things that were obviously their fault. I hope in the future no one else has to deal with the things we are dealing with, and I hope Baden and Cord take steps to insure that they do

So far we have had a tremendously positive experience. From Jeff- our bid agent, Tracy our move coordinator, to our pack and load crew- Chad, Andy, Trent and Darrell, all have been superb. We are moving from Illinois to Washington, so there is a lot involved. These people really care. Considerate, kind, respectful, motivated. A GREAT EXPERIENCE- A+!
