They aren’t understanding or willing to work with you. We moved a week before our second child. We had damage to our stuff which the movers took pictures but didn’t say anything to help us. I was sent the damage form but it wasn’t readable so I sent it to my husband to fix then when I sent it to them before the 10 days (the night before we needed to be to the hospital) I accidentally sent it to my husband. Pregnancy brain and a lot going on to get set up before the birth. I realize it on day 13 as I hadn’t heard anything back. I explained the issue to Deborah the one in charge of claims and she was sorry but you failed to get it to us. She could clearly see the timestamp of trying to get it to them. I sent the pictures and everything to my husband meaning to go to them. Don’t have an off day if you are using them as a moving company

The moving company sales manager could not authorize, any type of credit for my concerns. They movers tipped over pieces of furniture which emptied out drawers and just threw everything back in without telling us. A piece of furniture was chipped during the taking off the truck, and nothing was brought to our attention.Hope the damage claim gets better treatment.

I want to say 1st that the guys were very nice. I had to moved into a storage unit until by place was ready ONLY had that night to inspect all the items from 2 full truck loads. I ask them tell me if they damaged anything so I would know and not be surprised I was SURPRISED when I finally was able to move. So much damage to my item's I just wanted to scream. Scratched, dented, broken item's just not acceptable. Not a happy customer at all they needed to speak up and be more careful with everyone item's.

Not only was a move that was only an a 3 bedroom home almost 2 thousand dollars and 2 days to move, but then the movers tried to state they used the full 10 hours when they clearly rushed the job. Also boxes were CLEARLY opened and retaped from our packed items, items were STOLEN and since we could not afford to pay the EXTRA 350 for "full insurance" their idea of compensation for loss of over 750 dollars of stolen and broken products is 24 dollars!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!! use a small local mover! We should have gone with a local mover like we did in the past! we lost way too much money and are heart broken and ANGRY!

I have used Fry Wagner in previous moves and recently, once again, employed their services. Unfortunately I have now found them to be untrustworthy. They estimated our move for two crates and then when the bill arrived they charged us for three. We asked about this and they said when the movers open the crates take pictures of the containers and if this could have been done in two crates they would make adjustments. We did this and it was obvious that the materials could have fit into two crates not three. Even their mover on site came to this conclusion. They refused to adjust the charges. Unfortunately, I paid in full prior to them delivering, which in hind site was a big mistake. They could have easily said lets split the difference and would have had a satisfied customer. Instead they took advantage of the situation and charged me an extra $800. Clearly a company with poor character..I would avoid them.

Fry-Wagner did an excellent job moving us into our new home. The crew was on time and incredibly professional and took great care of our stuff and new home. They are very reasonably priced and easy to work with - wouldn't move with anyone else!

We recently retained Frye Wagner for a local move and we were extremely pleased. Having never hired a professional moving company, and we weren’t quite sure what type of expectations to have… these guys absolutely blew us away. The professionalism displayed not only by our Salesman Travis, but also the 6 man crew led by Greg was bar-none. The efficiency and extra care taken to protect our home and belongings assured us we made the right choice. We will definitely be requesting Travis and Greg for our next move!

I must state that we have been dealing with Fry-Wagner since January 2013. In these 9+ years, Fry-Wagner handled, stored, and transported our belongings multiple times between St. Louis and Washington DC and their warehouse in Earth City. Throughout this process, we found your processes, their St. Louis staff, and their partner agents in Washington DC to be very professional, courteous, and attentive to our needs. Fry-Wagner staff deserves big kudos. In these multiple shuffling of our belongings, we had only two damages for which we had to file a claim. Few weeks after filing the claim, we received a letter from Fry-Wagner, which seemed like in multiple pages, I assumed that their legal department was telling us why they could not approve our claim. But, instead, we found a check, a very fair and no-hassle resolution of the damage, and our claim to our pleasant surprise. We are a very satisfied customer of Fry-Wagner, and recommend them highly for any cross-country moves of household belongings..

We have moved internationally four times and interstate three times-our recent move from St Louis to Galveston Texas was DEPLORABLE, much worse than any move we have ever done. Fry Wagner, agent for United Van Lines and UNIGROUP, was absolutely hopeless in terms of speed of service, quality of packing, and customer relations. First, our possessions were packed up and split into two shipments, against our desire and to accommodate their scheduling. The second shipment arrived 45 days after their packing in STL. Their packing was inadequate-nearly all furniture was damaged due to limited use of padding; all wardrobes were stuffed and thus collapsed with clothing in a big pile, and items like large lamps, lampshades, etc destroyed. One cabinet, a part of a four piece bedroom set, was totaled-it appears that the base was hit by a fork lift. A large and heavy ceramic coffee table was damaged at each corner and the two pedestals crushed. It goes on and on; well over $10K in damage. I did not take insurance and it sounds like from other reviews herein that I would have wasted more money as I doubt they honor any promises. They also lost several important items and then ghosted us when we asked about those. In a word, their packing service was WRECKLESS. Communications from them during the 45 day delay were abysmal; one coordinator simply resigned our project and kicked it upstairs to UNIGROUP. Now, they expect to be paid the full amount; we shall see about that!

This was my first move across country with a moving company and Fry-Wagner delivered from start to finish. Estimate was on the penny. Movers showed up on time and did a great job packing. Delivery was on time and efficient. Company is available by phone and ready to answer questions. With so many nightmare stories about movers online, I was apprehensive, but I highly recommend everyone we came in contact with at Fry-Wagner.

Can’t recall any of the other workers however Isaac (last name unknown) came in , introduced himself and immediately got to work . Our home was packed in less than half the time expected , furniture & belongs were moved to our new home , carefully unwrapped & placed in their designated areas . I would definitely recommend this company, especially this crew .

DO NOT expect quality packing or back end service from Fry Wagner. If your items arrive in one piece understand that this is LUCK. Paid extra for insurance? Doesn't matter. They won't honor it. And they clearly don't care about client reviews- they have MANY experiences just like mine documented here. Fry Wagner does not know how or does not care to pack fragile items appropriately. A 3ft tall vase from my mother-in-laws' estate was packed in paper- no bubble wrap, peanuts etc at all. They placed the vase ON TOP of a much smaller item in the same box (!) and unsurprisingly the vase was completely smashed despite the box having no exterior damage. Other items were misdirected- and Fry Wagner is refusing to pay to deliver to the appropriate address across the country based on an inventory they created that has exactly NO detail about what goes where. I wonder why it's so devoid of information? Yeah. IF you choose to use Fry Wagner- make sure you take PHOTOS of everything and force them to appropriately inventory & pack your items. You're going to need the receipts for EVERYTHING you own in order to get anything from them. And if that doesn't sound like a very trustworthy organization- there you go.

Worst moving experience ever! I wish I'd never hired Fry Wagner. Not only did some of my items arrive broken, they lost SO many things! The whole experience was terrible. And now, 2 months later, they are in no hurry to find my lost items. These are belongings that are irreplaceable and they don't seem to care. I warn you. DO NOT USE FRY WAGNER!
