Easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had! The car was super clean! I’ve test drove 5 other cars at various other used car dealerships and this one was the cleanest! Morgan had the CARFAX printed and went over all the details with us. I was so thankful they had the option to purchase a warranty buying a car as is always makes me nervous but having a warranty really puts my mind at ease!

This is my granddaughter story. I recently purchased a vehicle from Barklage Motors, sold *as is*, unfortunately. During the buying process, I should have trusted my gut. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was wrong—maybe it was the brakes making noise, and I assumed they were probably bad.
I’m paying a lot of money for a car that no longer runs after just one day. When the car broke down, I was stranded in the cold for three hours with my 1-year-old and 3-year-old. Frustrated, I texted them, saying they sold me a **piece of junk**—which, in hindsight, I shouldn’t have worded that way.
I left a Google review—not even a bad one. It simply said: *“Don’t buy a car from here. Mine broke down the next day, and the staff was a little rude.”* (This excludes Cody—he seemed professional about the situation and was much calmer. I didn’t see him much anyway.)
My uncle does a lot of work for these people, and I was later informed that a **new motor** had supposedly been put in this car—yet now it needs a whole new motor again. The only way they agreed to fix it was if I took down the Google review, saying they wouldn’t do anything otherwise.
They eventually offered to fix it, but my warranty wouldn’t provide a rental car unless I went to a certified shop—which they are not—so they kindly towed it to Hi-Tech for me. Later, I received a contract stating they wouldn’t have any further involvement, which I have refused to sign for now. I felt that if my warranty through the bank didn’t cover everything, it would only be fair for them to reimburse me for any leftover costs, but they weren’t too interested in that.
So here I am, stuck paying over $9,000 (with interest) on a car that doesn’t even work because it wasn’t properly inspected. I realize I could have approached them differently at times, and there were moments I was short with them. But I just wanted to hear if this has happened to anyone else who bought a car from them—or if I just have really bad luck.

I just came here to say I saw someone online giving a negative review, and thank goodness she included the screenshots of the conversation with the owner because the way it was handled was above and beyond professional. To be willing to go that distance to keep your customers happy, even when it isn’t your problem and the customer bought the car as is, was impressive.

I bought my Jeep Compass from there to upgrade to a family car. They have good pricing for their vehicles. They also work with you and have good communication with customers. 100% would recommend to anyone and buy again from them.

Morgan and Cody are wonderful people I started going through them when I had my accident in may of 2020 and was wheel chair bound couldn’t walk cause I lost my leg and needed a reliable vehicle and they did everything in there power to put me in something comfortable for me and I couldn’t think them enough they go over and beyond to make there customers happy

We recently put a car on consignment with Barklage Motors. We wanted a place that was honest and helpful. Morgan was always in communication whenever we had any questions and made sure that our vehicle was in the right condition for buyers. It was hassle free on our part. Morgan did all the work for us. Her rate was reasonable and she never did anything with the car without us knowing about it! We are very thankful for them!
