I usually like this store. However, today 7/4/25. An employee with dark hair,skinny guy with glasses was trying to blow up balloons. the line kept getting longer. The manager was on the phone in the office. The customer asked the cashier if he could have the manager get off the phone to help check people out. (He was very nice about this).
The employee went off on the customer calling him every name in the book, cussing throwing the balloon at the customer. The customer daughter and wife was with them. I have been told this same cashier does this often. I will not go back because of this.
I hope Dollar General looks into this and reprimand the employee. As it is not the first time he has done this.

While shopping, I encountered two women stocking the freezer section who were openly rude and made it very clear that my presence was an inconvenience to them. I was polite, didn’t rush them, and even apologized for needing to grab a few items from the area they were working in. Despite that, their attitude was unnecessarily unpleasant and unprofessional.
On a more positive note, the man who was stocking with them was friendly and helpful, and the cashier (I believe his name is Curtis) was courteous and efficient.

Stopped in 7.3.24 for BBQ wings for the pizza we ordered at the Casey's near by. I didn't catch the workers name who helped me reach them because the tyson BBQ wings were on a top shelf and pushed back enough I couldn't reach. Thank you for your help sir! Also, thank you to my cashier Lisa for such a positive interaction. You are just wonderful! This store definitely has some really good associates. I normally see an older gentleman but he was there today. He's recommended some good snacks! Lol. Definitely will be back.
