I would have given it 5 stars but it's very confusing how to use their app to get discounts. And the card is a different way to get discounts. Very frustrating

My experience at the gerbes in eldon is always horrible. You are guaranteed to accidentally buy atleast 1 item past its sell by date every time. I'm sure the employees are great but the business model is so geared toward deceiving the customer it's hard to see past that. The produce section seems intentionally bad. If you plan to buy any organic produce open the packaging and inspect for mold pockets it the berries and mushy bruises in the apples. It seems with as "up and coming" as the "boom town" of eldon is we deserve a higher standard of food.

Little grocery store. Good if you have to get a couple dinner ingredients or you're on the way home and you remember you're it of milk. I like it that there is a place I can go to pick up a few things but don't have to walk 3 miles like I do if I stop at most stores in more metropolitan areas.
I just hate it that everything causes so early around here. Even at the lake, that caters to lots of late nite party people during summer season, everything closes down as if people are afraid of being out after dark because they've heard it makes them more likely to be the victims of vampire gangs.
Why do we seem to be at the mercy of a mandate agreed upon by a unknown group of possibly very elderly schedule influencers who agree during secret meetings that everyone must be on a "8-5, M-F or too effin' bad " work/living schedule around here? We're long since back to pre-pandemic work schedules, so why are we unable to resume life in a way that better accommodates everyone?
