Gastineau Hardware & Lumber Co. is a small hardware store known for its helpful staff who assist customers in finding what they need, unlike larger lumber stores. However, there has been a noticeable decline in stock over the years, leading to a shift from being a place where one could find anything. The community appreciates Mr. Bruce Gastineau for his kindness, especially towards children, and hopes for the store's recovery.
A bit sad to see the decline in stock at the store. Over the last few years, I’ve seen the store go from one where you can “find anything” to just being a typical small hardware store. Hoping to see them bounce back.

Great place to shop people that work there are so helpful. I hate shopping at the big lumber stores they don't want help you find stuff like Menard and Lowe's.
