A need came up about a diabetic issue. I looked to see if CVS had the product. They did ( a lancet device). I also checked my email and there was a 4 dollar coupon. Got the device with the coupon in about 15 minutes. A very successful trip.

Coming to this pharmacy today in May 2025 was a great experience. The nurse practitioner Crystal was nice and helpful. The employees in the pharmacy really care about the people. A female employee worked to an older man to give him his medicine instead of letting him stand there waiting. It seems to be a very sweet place.

Madison is an amazing employee.
She called me back to let me know what was going on when I didn't even ask her to.
I didn't ask her to because even when you do ask it goes unheard.
But she remembered and called me back to let me know the status twice.
That means a customer is not just a number and shows a level of empathy that is rare in this world.

Be prepared to be stared at and followed by management if you spend more than 2 minutes in an aisle. I'm given dirty looks every time I enter this location- no other CVS has such rude staff.

Professional, helpful, friendly, and easily the best pharmacy I've worked with in my life. I have been going here since they opened and will continue as long as I am able. Thank you for your help, and I'm grateful to have this location easily available.

I would not use this pharmacy on Manchester and Big Bend. We have had to deal with the male pharmacist at this site questioning several times the routine prescriptions/treatment of our primary care provider to the point that we have transferred prescriptions to another pharmacy-CVS pharmacy in Ellisville is great. Unfortunately following surgery and needing pain medications we used this pharmacy due to close proximity to home. Again, this pharmacist questioned the Rx delaying the filling of the medication. He was also rude to our doctor. He is a pharmacist not a medical doctor

CVS Hillsville is a waste of time and money. Even if there's a 35% discount you can but cheaper at wal mart. Incompetence, and if you need a life saving medication call the undertaker he'll be more efficient

Can’t speak with a person in the pharmacy when calling for help. Have to leave a message. Have mentioned multiple times that I need a specific name-brand medication (not the generic) yet this pharmacy somehow manages to fill the generic for me regularly. Time to take my business elsewhere.

I waited in the drive-thru line for well over 15 minutes to pick up a prescription just to be told when I got to the window that they were closing for lunch and I would have to come back in an hour. This is utterly ridiculous. They should have put cones out ahead of time instead of turning away a customer at the window who'd been waiting for so long.

Drove 25 minutes at 4am to get medicine for my sick daughter only to find out that they were closed. There are still other signs up saying they are 24 hours.

Disappointed with this minute clinic. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment, so the nurse instructed me that I needed to reschedule, because she was going to lunch. Not a great way to treat your customers.

I love the store and the front of the store associates but their pharmacy is a hot mess and the pharmacy manager is argumentative and rude. I had an issue on the phone with one of her associates and expressed my frustration to the associate checking me out later that day, who mind you agreed with me about the associate being unhelpful and rude, “it’s just her personality”, and she asked to share the feedback with the manager who then came over and became completely argumentative telling me she’s never had a complaint on her before, etc.I know the customer isn’t always right, but when you’re messing with kids medicine and it’s a controlled substance that he needs, you have to be a little more helpful in trying to find options, since you all can never seem to keep it in stock and we fill it every month there.Tonight I was there to pick up a prescription for myself and went thru the drive thru and sat there for 8 minutes before anyone finally said they’d be with me in a moment. The person who shared that was the store manager who was closing a drawer and realized no one back there even acknowledged me. Everyone’s short handed. I can be patient but at least acknowledge someone so they know you’ll be with them.If I didn’t have to go through CVS for my scripts, I’d be out because this place is a joke and no one cares to do anything to fix it.
