My husband had a late morning appointment in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Our plan was to have lunch and visit with our daughter before driving back to Illinois.We were almost to her house when I noticed a warning on the dash "Tire Pressures Low."Three days earlier this same warning had appeared... then there was a bump on the pavement...then a wobble...and as I stopped on the shoulder of a busy highway the driver's side front tire went sailing past the car and up the grassy hillside.A new tire had been installed the next day. And now that same warning was back...and there seemed to be a wobble.My daughter said there was a Dobbs near her, gave us directions and said she'd meet us there.Hazard lights on, moving at a crawl, afraid that the tire was going to come off the rim again, we arrived at Dobbs Ellisville, with me in near panic.From the moment I walked in and explained my problem to Karrie Sirota I knew we were in good hands. Karrie listened, immediately understood and took prompt action to have someone look at my car. She was warm and welcoming as well as being professional and capable. Brandon Hausler, Retail Sales Manager, was the one who first looked at my car. His initial look found no obvious issues with any of the tires. But he didn't stop there. He and the Dobbs Ellisville staff went on to check all the tire pressures, aired all the tires to factory specs, tightened all the lug nuts, looked at the underside of the car to see if the earlier tire incident had caused any damage, and checked the alignment. His thoroughness was impressive. He kept us informed throughout and recapped his findings when they were done. The newly installed tire had several pounds more air pressure than the other three tires. Also, the car was somewhat out of alignment, which could have occurred when the tire came off the rim. Both would make a difference in how the car felt driving. The alignment did not have to be immediately corrected, but should be done some time in the fairly near future.I opted to have them do the alignment that afternoon. The price was fair and they could complete the work while we had lunch with our daughter.The work was completed as promised. With peace of mind we picked up the car and headed for home. There was a definite difference in how the car felt to drive. Now it was smooth and straight again. To top off the great experience we'd already had at Dobbs Ellisville, Brandon went that step further and called later that afternoon to make sure we had arrived home safely and that there were no issues with the car.Superior service, professional staff, reasonable prices and being treated like family - that's my Dobbs Ellisville experience. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I HIGHLY recommend this Dobbs. I went in for a 10 AM emissions testing appointment on a Saturday only to find out that the appointment was for a different Saturday. They were so incredibly nice and they got me in anyway. Even though they were clearly super busy, with the parking lot completely full. I sincerely appreciate the courtesy I was shown.

I had the unfortunate experience of a dead battery this morning. I knew a new one was installed this past March . Called the store . Brandon the Sales Manager drove to our house and used their jump pack. I drove to the site and they replaced the bad battery. Service is always outstanding. Also, there are so upsale tactics used. Straight forward.

Pretty disappointed with this place the last two years. I came in here not that long ago complaining of a rattle while hitting bumps. They said it was a wrench that a previous quick lube place left in the frame rails. I get back home and it's still rattling and they charged me $75. Then when you want an emissions test you call and they say you don't need an appointment and then when you choose your day and show up, they say they can't get you in. I just don't get the feeling that this place is serious about doing what they do.They claim to be an alternative to the dealers, but the dealers actually has better trained people with better equipment. You pay extra for it but who cares.I've been getting tires here for 15 years and I will be looking elsewhere.Here's a kicker. I drive a sports car... not the car that had the wrench problem, that was a run of the mill SUV.... that they consider an exotic and they won't touch it. The reality is it's a run-of-the-mill car so I had to take it elsewhere. This place is probably fine for a Ford Taurus that needs an oil change but wouldn't have them do anything else

Brandon at Dobbs Ellisville is such a rockstar! He is punctual with call backs, honest and fair about what was wrong with my vehicle, and worked so hard to find the real issue of my car. He didn’t try to add extra things that on and only did what my car needed. He is phenomenal and I will be coming back to Dobbs for all 4 of my vehicles because I know I can count on his honesty and hard work. I highly recommend working with him, he took such good care of my daughter’s car. Thank you!

I’ve taken my car to this location for several months now, but after my last visit, I couldn’t be more disappointed with Dobbs.I took my car into Dobbs because my A/C had stopped working and blowing air. Wrote on the night drop sheet to ask for an oil change and to check the A/C. They had called the next day saying that the grand total was $450 for the oil change and whatever was needing fixing with the A/C. Once done, I picked up the car and after driving for roughly 5 minutes, the A/C once again stopped working. I got home and spoke with the associate (Brandon I believe) about the issue and asked why I had paid for the problem not being solved. I was told in a completely roundabout way what was “fixed” and that I need to “stop pointing fingers” and was hung up on after asking to bring it back to the shop. I can understand paying for necessary repairs, but when I’m charged almost $450 ($90 for the oil change which needed to be done regardless) it’s extremely frustrating. I would never take my car back here for anything after this experience and I would recommend you go somewhere else with your car.

Kudos to Dobbs in Ellisville. The staff went above and beyond to do a simple emissions test on my car. They worked around my situation to complete the job quickly. The staff cares about their customers and each other. Everyone works together to get the job done. You can tell that they take pride in doing a good job! I’ll be back!

I highly recommend this Dobbs location! I have needed to utilize them three times in the past six months and all three times they have provided exceptional service and quality work! I am new to the area, and it was very refreshing to work with a company that doesn’t treat me different for being a woman And not knowing a lot about cars! You won’t be disappointed with this business.

I have been customer with Dobbs since years and never had any issue till my last visit to their Ellisville location.James in particular is very rude, aggressive and unprofessional. Took my car there and saw some additional charges on the invoice and followed back with him for the explanation as he was already has left for the day, he agreed to refund the additional charges and when I went back there his tone was totally changed and started talking in very aggressive, rude and unprofessional manner.Looks like they are going to loose all the business from my family and friends.

I had a screw in my tire and they got me in right away and had it fixed within a couple hours. They were very kind and helpful. Brittany is wonderful. She was very patient and gave me a shuttle ride home and back. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had.

My husband and I needed four all-weather tires and an alignment asap on one of our vehicles. We called around to about five places and every other shop was rude, had super booked up schedules, etc. I called here on Saturday and Brandon, who is one of the best managers I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with in the auto industry (I’ve owned several cars at this point) sold me on some Goodyears and by Tuesday afternoon we were rolling out in what feels like a brand new car now. Brandon broke down all the warranty stipulations and was upfront with all of the pricing. Brittany was also awesome with updates and communicating promptly when the ordered tires came into the shop. Logistically, it was very easy to work with this shop. Brandon and Brittany both deserve raises! Please take care of them and your wonderful team. With their retention, we will happily drive a little further to spend our money here with Dobbs Ellisville. As consumers, we have choices on how and where we spend our hard earned money and this situation restored my hope that EXCELLENT customer service still exists. And it DEFINITELY is a top decision maker in where we choose to take our business. Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

I appreciate my experience with Dobbs! Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and assisted me with all my needs and concerns. Staff was honest about timing of the repair and the cost was reasonable. Dobbs Ellisville has had my business for decades. I drive past other locations to this location because they always provide honest assessments and do great work. They even voluntarily noted their “Fixed Forever” guarantee made a recent repair free to me - saving me a substantial amount of money.

Dobbs Ellisville was able to get me right in after my battery needed a jump at the grocery store. I also was able to get a few other services and new tires. They truly are a full service shop and can save you money over dealer services. They also picked me up from home so I could pick up my car. So happy!!
