We stayed at the campground. Camp Host really stays on top of things. Beautiful setting and wild horses were a huge plus.

We stayed in the Timbuktu Campground section. Easy to maneuver, very clean. Was extremely busy for the end of the season. Great local trails.

The lodge and park were beautiful. The restaurant at the lodge was way over priced for the food service and cleanliness of the restaurant itself. Maybe they were short staffed but that's no excuse for not cleaning an area after customers leave when there are only 1 or 2 tables occupied. Other than the restaurant I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away. The wifi was limited to the lodge itself so that was nice.

Restaurant was awful, I think all the food was microwaved. The stay at the lodge was good.

I camped at this amazing state park in October. Easy access to hiking. The creek behind the campground is low but fun to hike around. The grounds have level concrete pads at the rv sites. The surrounding trees, hills, water, and wildlife are overwhelming - the area is full of sounds and sights, especially at night. I wish Colorado state parks were so amazing.

Front desk staff were very friendly eager to help and direct you to points of interest in Echo and surrounding area! The outside grounds were clean and the infrastructure still looks good 9 yrs later, since its establishment in July, 2016.
I will be returning to the area!

I love Echo Bluff State Park. What a beautiful Park. Everything looks groomed and clean. One of the largest fire places is in the middle of the Lodge. You can rent rooms at the lodge, small cabins, large homes, and a full hookup RV campground.

My wife's Family traveled to this area of the country for probably 15 years while she was growing up. They use to stay in Eminence, MO and camp at the State Park (Alley Springs). I've probably been there 10 times over the past 20 years. Prior to Echo Bluff being built, we stayed at various places in Eminence (Rivers Edge, various B&Bs). The accommodations were always Spartan and it was almost impossible to find any restaurants that offered anything more than "Fried something" or hamburgers. All that has changed with Echo Bluff State Park Lodge. The Lodge has accommodations that are orders of magnitude better than what can be found in Eminence and the on-site restaurant has really good food and a menu that is large enough that one could eat several different meals at the Lodge without having to repeat and entree. There is a beautiful creek behind the lodge (about 150 yards) that you can put your lawn chair in, sit back and enjoy the cool stream water and the absolutely gorgeous view of the Bluff.

Such a beautiful place ruined with the eye sore buildings, roads, and people. It was a beautiful and peaceful place when it was camp Zoe.

We stayed in the campground with full electric and water hookup. We were a little disappointed with the RV campground, gives more of an RV park vibe, than a state park. No trees, all concrete slabs. No privacy since your neighbor is only 2 feet from you. Felt more like glamping with a crowd since the campground was fully booked. We did anticipate more of a nature feel to it and that was definitely missing. But very clean.
The water is down at walking distance. Beautiful scenery and lots of hiking trails. Did not go in the lodge, since we had our dog with us and they aren't allowed there.
