Food was awful and very expensive, $200 for a family of 5. You can tell they don’t actually cook much of it, as it was mostly pre-packaged food warmed up. When spending that amount of $$, I would expect some of it to be handmade. Salmon was very overcooked, unseasoned, and had a whole bag of pecans just dumped on top of it. Prime rib and baked potato were pretty dry. Pizza was just ok, definitely not worth $12 for a 12”. Fries were like McDonalds fries.Kid-friendliness: Good for kids

Lovely view of Echo Bluff from the dining room. Service was friendly and timely. Food was exceptional for the area.

Awesome atmosphere and service - from the lodge staff to the grill staff. Beautiful facility too!

Was given dirty looks by cooks and employees, offered a "free drink" and got sick immediately after.

Don’t mean to sound so negative but we ate there last night and it was the worst meal that we spent $70 on (just 2 of us) in a long time. It truly was like a frozen tv dinner warmed to lukewarm at best in a microwave. We had the meatloaf that was described as bacon wrapped. Waiter said it was popular and good. It was mush with one lump string of bacon on it. The fries I will say were good temp and tasty. I expected a pretty nice place being inside of a lodge (something like Pere Marquette has) but this was a small room that looked more like the decor of a hospital cafe. Very basic and plain for as expensive as the menu items were. Will not be back. Service wasn’t bad but seemed to be partying in the kitchen a little more than should. Party next to us was complaining about their food and returning it. I just don’t do that.

Restaurant attached to the lodge. Nothing fancy. Indoor seating is pretty basic but the deck is nice if the weather permits.Food is unfortunately just not very good. Appears to just be stuff they have premade that they just sort of heat up or slap together. Nachos were especially rough. Basically one step above what you get from a little league concession stand. It's definitely a good place to go in a pinch or if you ran out of food before your trip ends.Service was solid. I don't know if they were understaffed or didn't expect the crowd on a random Wednesday night in November, but they were working their butts off.Try the Piney River Brewing beer selection.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and coloring supplies.

Not a good dining experience. Husband's pizza came out burnt to a black crisp, had to flag down the hostess to find out waitress. Took 30 minutes to get a replacement. No adjustment on bill for our long wait. I was finished with my chicken long before he got his food.2nd pizza wasn't much better. Waitress never came once to check on refills, etc. Was busy berating other customers who chose to sit outside. All the diners inside had to listen to her complaints. Would drive the 20 miles to another town to avoid eating there again.

We made this our primary stop for lunch and/or dinner on a recent trip to the area. We had good food, excellent service and I thought the prices were reasonable. I recommend the ribs!

Food was not as good as usual. Several bad pieces of lettuce in my salad and not much flavor in grilled chicken.

I've eaten there a few times before and was always good, today was only mediocre, fries weren't crispy, drink was flat.

Do not eat here. The food looks and tastes like it was bought from Walmart and thrown in a microwave. The prices are way to high for some food that wouldn't even compare to food from a cheap concession stand you would find at a kids ball game. You are better off bringing your own food if you are coming to Echo

Probably the worst breakfast buffet I've ever had, and no option to order from a menu.

We’ve been here several times, each time the food gets worse. Party of 11 this time, food was served 2 plates at a time10 minutes apart. Tough frozen burger patties served Hal raw. The rest of our party all was disappointed with their meals. Do better!

It is really too bad there are only 5 stars. I would say the whole experience was a solid 10/10. The host was friendly without interrupting our romantic anniversary dinner. The food was out-of-this-world tasty and fresh. This was the first time we have been, but we will be going back soon.
