Nothing like it where we live. I didn’t know there were so many different kinds of wolves. The guide was very informative and covered a lot of information in a short time on the endangered tour. Our kids ages 7-14 enjoyed it. And the adults did too!

Visiting the EWC was a memorable experience for my granddaughter and I. We watched a brief video about the mission of the center then headed outside to view the foxes and wolves. Paige, our tour guide, was friendly and full of interesting facts about the animals and EWC.

Very knowledgeable and patient staff. We came with 2 very active toddlers and the staff were very understanding. We received immediate help when the boys overheated and were assisted into an ac room so they could cool down. So very helpful, especially a young woman who's name I can not remember, but know that she is one of 2 who share the same first name. One of my Grandsons has special needs , although it doesn't show on the outside, and he loves Wolf's ?. He especially loved touching the different pelts . Thank you . We will be back once it gets cooler.

Had an extremely positive experience. Did the VIP tour. The wolves are very amazing animals and the care they take of them is great! Our tour guide Jimmy was very friendly and informative. It was an anniversary present and they surprised us with a happy anniversary sign in one of the habitats. Where the African painted dogs got to rip it up. It was amazing and won’t be forgotten! Will go back and will recommend to others!

This was a great experience. I loved getting to see the wolves close up. The tour guides, Sage & Emma, were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information about the wolves, painted dogs, & foxes. I would love to come back to experience the wolf howl. ?

We had an amazing time at the Foxy Fun Encounter! The guides were all passionate and knowledgeable, they made us feel very comfortable. Seeing the foxes up close was such a unique experience, they were shy at first but warmed right up to us once they realized we had food for them! We definitely plan on going back to see the rest of the facility someday!

I purchased tickets on the website which provided 4 tickets for a private tour. While it was pricey, it was well worth it. My daughter loves wolves and found the experience to be one of a kind and it even sparked a passion for volunteering one day when she is older. Our tour guide Sage was very knowledgeable about each animal and where the came from along with the facility and its history. I would recommend going here for the experience of it and checking into the summer camp options for your children.

It was such a neat experience to see the animals and hear all about the center and what they are doing. We went for a birthday party and it was a unique experience. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice group tour led by a knowledgeable young lady who took us around the park to the enclosures while telling us all about the history and goals of the conservation effort to return these animals to the wild, or to zoos if reintroduction to the wild is unlikely to be successful. There's a well stocked gift shop in one of the many bunkers that were constructed during more trying times (WWII). Worth the visit, but not sure about the more one on one experience. Please note, if you are odor averse, wolves and fixes do have s string scent so be prepared! The animals are more active in cool weather and in the mornings.

Visited here with a Meetup group. The turn in for the Wolf Center is hard to find. Yes it's the gate. Push the button and the staff will walk you through the rest. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Small group tours of the foxes, wolves and the painted dogs. FYI you will smell skunk weed. No one is smoking weed. It's one of the animals and you will need to visit to find out which one.

We took the private tour with Tanner and Austin and were so impressed with their knowledge and passion! We hope to return next time we are in the area and participate in the “howl” event. We were especially impressed with the personal stories of the canids that Tanner and Austin shared with us. We were able to see the animals close up enough without causing too much anxiety to the animals. Bring money to tip because you will want to leave a big tip to the amazing tour directors! Thank you Tanner and Austin for answering all of our questions and emailing us more answers to questions and the link to the Coyote Peterson visit to the center.

Not many people know about this place. Glad I saw it on Google Maps. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance. My party did the Endangered Species Tour which lats about 1.5 hours. You walk about a mile but the terrain is not difficult and most walking is done on paved or gravel surfaces. They have wolves, foxes, and African Painted Dogs for viewing. We got to see a whole pack of Mexican Grey Wolves rhat were very interested in the commotion of the tour. The African Dogs were playful. This place also has large habitats for wolves that they intend to release into the wild. They do such an awesome job preserving these animal species. The red wolves that used to roam the entire Eastern US are near extinct and they are helping to prevent that. I highly recommend going and checking out the work they are doing and see the beautiful animals!
