“Have always loved this shop since moving to Eureka but last night (Friday night) I called about 10 min before closing looking for something specific that I’ve only ever been able to find there in the past. After confirming they had it in stock, the lady working told me she would stick around and wait for me to get up there to buy before she closed the store! I ended up getting there a few minutes after closing time and she didn’t rush me at all and even helped me find something else while I was there! Great staff, great store!”

“I went there for a pie for an I'll friend to try to get him to just eat something. They have Tippins pies which are very delicious but only had the reduced sugar French Silk at the time. It was later in the day so they might have just sold out of the regular by that time. My buddy was able to find a regular one at the Dierbergs on Olive about an hour later. The store was nice and clean and also well organized. I didn't see any staff for the bakery to check if there might be any more but I understand it's hard to find employees these days since Covid.”

“I had fun on my Saturday browse of this shop during a recent visit. Having been to the former location of The Wine & Cheese Place (in a strip mall, juxtaposed with a Christian Science Reading Room), I found this Lamp & Lantern village location to be an upgrade - even though the space is compact, it doesn't have the feel of being claustrophobic and gets plenty of natural light. As other reviewers pointed out, the store features a solid collection of liquors and craft beers in addition to wines. I ended up picking up a bottle of St. George vodka to replenish my collection as I had previously tried and loved the gin from this brand. The wine selection is well organized by region and variety, even going so far as to include at-a-glance signage denoting which bottles are "patio pounders" (a phrase I have since appropriated). There happened to be a wine tasting underway. It's been a while but my recall is that it showcased three bottles - red, white, and either a rose or sparkling. The white evoked a sauvignon blanc, and I ended up with a bottle of that as well. The selection of cheeses and olives isn't extremely expansive, as other reviewers mentioned, but perhaps that was a business decision as Dierberg's market, Schnucks, and Whole Foods are just a stone's throw away. The Bloody Mary seasoned peanuts, which I have not seen anywhere else, are highly delicious.”

“Remus Repeal VII was really good. I did a tasting of II, V, VI, and VII with friends. We thought II was a outliner, with a long lasting rye finish. The others came across as a smoother bourbon. I thought VII was better than V was better than VI. All were very good though. Randall's did a great job. All the employees were very friendly and professional.”

“I really like going to their deli for lunch. Selection is great and the team is very friendly. I asked them to slice a rotisserie chicken in half, no problem! The butcher is very accommodating too. I needed 31 3/4" ribeye's for an event at my store. Done in 15 minutes!”

“Keeping in mind that Dierbergs is a little more expensive that it's competitor in the area this store always seems to be clean and well stocked. The employees rate a four out of five, sometimes a three out of find depending on who you have behind the counter and who you get at the cash register. Then again, those are pretty much the only two groups you interact with. The produce is always fresh, the proteins always seemed to be fresh, the deli seems to always be nice. We have an advantage because we live right there pretty much at the corner and it makes Dierbergs a huge convenience. That's about it!”

We also went to 3 different grocery stores before Dierbergs and this was the only store that had Prime drinks and carrot sticks. They were the only store that also keeps the Prime drink in stock all year round. Everything was much more in stock than the other stores. We would definitely come back!! I think that they are doing better than target and might even catch up to them in stocks.”

They started jumping up and down when they saw the prime. also, all the workers gave us a 10% off coupon which made our prime drinks cheaper.”

“This is a great Store for your face it's made of cigarettes, cigars, liquor, very cheap candles and so much more. Unfortunately due to the Covid Plandemic issue the humidor is on lower supply than normal, But once it's over they'll have a full humidor again with great prices from two dollar cigars upwards. I definitely recommend this Great store. So when you're in the area check it out and you'll be glad you did, the price is great.”
