I love this little thrift store. The workers are beautiful people. I love the prices and have only been there 2xs in 3 years. I wish i had time to visit more. There is a woman who works there with the most beautiful energy. I do not know her name, but she has a colorful willow tree tattoo on her left arm. She is so friendly and very helpful. Love this place.

Literally everything you can imagine is here! What a gem, how did I miss it?! And it's in what must be "old town" Excelsior Springs, beautiful architecture all around. The very best part.... The incredible stained glass window... wall... I dunno but it's huge and beautiful!(They wouldn't sell it to me, hehe)They were having a 50% off clothes sale, but that still left prices a bit high. (A plain, not name brand, ladies tank top was still quite spendy at the ½ off price of $4)Prices may explain why the place is just full of so much merchandise! It's neat & clean. Not smelly. Employees (volunteers I think) were friendly enough, tho not eager to answer questions. On street parking, but the "no parking here to corner" signs are confusing with no arrows when they're practically in the middle of a block!I knew the Elms was in Excelsior Springs, but generally I just buzz into and out of Wal-Mart on the 'highway'. I never knew that so many incredible homes and buildings and stonework were there! I'm definitely going back to this thrift store, they do amazing things in the community. And, I'll explore town at the same time!***not a lot of toys, and it's really not set up for kids running around***

I'm disabled and they helped us get bedding so we could go lay down at the park and rest. Were homeless and all the shelters are full.I have a support dog and we're felons. My boyfriend is on parole and we're recovering addicts. This place helped us with some blankets and if anyone can help us it would be appreciated.I only get $840 taking out a loan we got, in disability SSI/SSDI and my boyfriend is unemployed from Ford motor company.Hes been trying to get the ids he needs to go back to work.We had a rough start but today's a new day and we love each other.Thats all that matters. We will make it.

Had some donations but apparently dropping off items is an inconvenience for the ladies that were "working" that day. Took my items to someplace that appreciated them.

Worth a trip to Excelsior Springs to find this thrift store, especially if you love animals. Two levels of quirky fun must have treasures and the ladies who work there? Love!
