Love the store and how easy it is to get in and out of. Their smoked meats make dinner for my hubby and I an event every night!

If you enjoy being claustrophobic and bagging your own overpriced groceries, then you're in luck.

I went right before 7pm to get some chicken tenders from the deli. There was one person in front of me but when the professional shopper walked up he was helped immediately while I still had to wait five more minutes. The lady in front of me had a large order. The chicken case was already empty??? When someone finally came out of the back I asked if there were tenders. She said no. I could barely hear her. I asked was there any fried. She said no. So I looked down into the case to see what was prepared and she just walked away and into the back! Sorry to say I finished my shopping. I should have just left. After checking out I tried to ask the cashier about the deli hours and they weren't certain. That is fine. I called after leaving to ask about it. After going on hold for a while I was told that dierbergs chicken is over at 6pm every day. I was going to ask whether I could order ahead if I knew what time I'd be there but the phone was slammed down hard when I asked. If they treat customers this way, how could I shop there again in good conscience?

I don't understand why you have to load the grocery bags in your own cart now . The cashier hands you a bag at a time . No regard for heavy items first. At Dierbergs prices they need to bring back baggers. I've also noticed longer wait times with having the cashiers bag. Fast, friendly service - no. Schnucks is getting more and more of my business.

We have been going to this Dierbergs since they opened. Tonight was absolutely the worst check out experience. I understand with the pandemic changes had to be made but they made tonight's visit terrible. At 5:10pm only 2 registers were open. There were 2-3 people in each line and neither was moving quickly. We usually don't pick the checker that was in this lane because she always seems mad and doesn't want to be at her job but the people ahead of us had the least amount of items to check out. We were wrong since they have cut back on baggers and they bag there own groceries most of the time it was a lot slower than it should have been. Finally we were getting checked out and no hi hello from the cashier she said nothing. Finally a familiar face came to bag as we were almost done. Since they have put an open space between the register and where the bagger should be she threw our item on that counter. Luckly it was meat and not breakable but really throwing our items like she was mad she had to be there. I was extremely disappointed with this service. Will go back but if this service continues we will start shopping other places.

Oh wow. Dierbergs was my preferred store to shop. Love their signature food items. But something missing here at this location. Even my favorite pumpkin loaf is missing oil or something. Unfortunately, I bought 2 loaves at regular price. :( wonder if I can exchange at another location. People nearly run you over in this shopping center. Maybe they need clearer cross walk signs, or a speed bump, or added stop sign.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. If there are no chicken breasts in your meat cases, maybe just expect to get some customer questions and train your staff accordingly. I will never step foot in any Dierberg's store again and will be sure to spread the word.

The customer service at this location is severely lacking. On multiple occasions there have been situations Dierbergs employees should have been able to resolve, but were only able to do so with an attitude. Example: I was paying with a gift card, the cashier didn't know how to complete a transaction with a gift card. The cashier asked colleagues for assistance; another cashier was finally able to help, but chimed in with the snide comment "you weren't doing it right", directed at me. Well of course I wasn't doing it right, I asked the cashier how to do it, I typically pay with a debit card. Today my receipt printed without the Dierbergs logo, since "I walked away" there were no options for me to get a receipt with the logo on it (for Ibotta purposes). I asked if I could return and re-checkout, customer service replied "well that would take a lot of our time and yours".My original review didn't even cover the time I asked the cashier if a deli item was ham or turkey. The cashier opened the deli bag, sniffed the meat, and proceeded to tell me her guess at what the item was (I questioned if the bag had been accidentally mislabeled). How flipping gross is that?!? I ended up not buying that deli item, and avoid that cashier at all costs now.

I am a Shipt Shopper. I shop at several Dierbergs locations and I have been doing this for about two months. I don't generally shop at Dierbergs because of the prices but I have been many times lately for Shipt. I've never written a bad review before but I've got to say that so many times lately the cashiers or checkers at the fenton Dierbergs location are very, very rude in general. I've noticed this for two months and haven't said anything but I was in this morning and I'm just tired of it. I called to make a comment and the woman said we have many shipt shopper's and no one has ever said anything. And as I was trying to say and I hadn't either for two months, she cut me off and said of course in a rude tone, and how are they rude or disrespectful to you? I'm not stupid I know what is going to happen since I didn't get actual customer service she is just going to laugh it off and not say anything. I plan on calling Dierbergs corporate on Monday.

The courtesy counter here is ridiculously rude. They give me attitude every time I come. Definitely need better staff behind the courtesy counter.

Went to Dierbergs Fenton and had a horrible experience at the cash register. The cashier waited until we put all of our groceries on the conveyor belt, then pulled her cash drawer, gave me a dirty look, said "Bye" and "Thank you" with an attitude that felt like she gave me the middle finger. Her replacement had an attitude of not wanting to be there. No apologies by either employee. We spoke with one of the customer service representatives and aired our complaint. The representative apologized for the incident. She stated that's not how Dierbergs operates, but it did today.

Went to buy candy that was displayed at the front of the store for the last 3 weeks. It was no longer there. I asked the customer service desk if they knew where they put the candy. The two ladies just looked at each other and said no. Did not offer to find out for me or anything for that matter. Called the store and spoke to a female manager.(don't remember name). USELESS Now I know why customer service lacks

Clean store and great health food selection, but prices are ridiculous. I really tried to make this my go-to grocery store. I want to support this store, but the prices seem to increase every other month! Couscous is now $3 for one box, four muffins are now $6 a container, and seltzer water is $5+ for an eight pack! Muffins are now cheaper at restaurants! The great selection means nothing if you can't afford anything. Also, check your receipt. During my last visit, some items did not ring up correctly. I pointed it out to the cashier, and she told me I would have to go to customer service. There was no one in her line other than me, and I had not even paid yet! I told her I didn't want to have to pay, wait in another line, and then have to be reimbursed. She looked at me, looked all the way over to customer service, looked back at me and said, "there's no line over there." That interaction - on top of the price increases - was the last straw. Goodbye, Dierbergs.
