Poor communication and poor knowledge of the missouri circuit breaker. I was told 3 different things by 3 different agents. 1 agent had no clue what I was referring to. Poor communication on how I was going to receive the refund. Either by check and didnt offer any other suggestion. Didn't tell me the payment wasn't coming out of the refund Instead of me finding out I had to pay upfront a month later. I was told that I should have received a link to follow, which I did not. When I attempted to call the customer service line, the automated service said I was using a free* service and couldn't receive "live help". I had to pay for mine to be done so I'm not sure what's going on. It is so frustrating. The representatives at the offices do talk down to you.

My tax preparer was very kind, caring and helpful in filing my circuit breaker tax refund and I even found out that they can file electronically now!! And the cost to file was extremely affordable!! Best Wishes to H&R and future clients!! God loves and cares greatly for All !!!

The lady on the phone was very rude.My fiancé has very bad ADHD, anxiety and trauma, so she has a hard time talking to people. She is learning. I am helping her learn how to talk to people, and usually speak on her behalf when she can’t.H&R Block has a very reasonable policy and their reasons they can’t really talk anyone but my fiancé on the phone. But the lady could not of been more rude about it. She spoke with my fiancé and when my fiancé didn’t know how to respond to a question she asked the lady if I could speak on her behalf. The lady said “okayyy, you can’t talk for yourself?” in a very rude almost stereotypical teenage voice.I explained what we were calling about with our taxes, and she kept explaining things in a very rude tone. Acting like me helping my fiancé on the phone is a personal issue. I asked her what I should so in these situations where I have to talk on my fiancés behalf, and she was not very nice about that either. I was upset enough to write this review and I hope she is more professional in the future.
