Isabee's Beekeeping Supplies is the local beekeeping source for the bi-state area. The store provides equipment, starter colonies, queens, extracting services, consulting, and classes for beginners. The staff is consistently described as kind, knowledgeable, professional, courteous, friendly, patient, and encouraging. They are eager to share their passion and make time for customers even when busy, which is why people will drive long distances to visit.
The beginner classes include hands-on instruction, such as being handed a frame of bees, which builds confidence. The staff is dedicated to ensuring beekeeping is the right hobby for someone before a big investment. While things can get hectic on big days, every effort is made to take care of customers. The store itself is immaculate and has active bee hives out back for observation. Customers learn something new with every visit and note that the shop sells phenomenal honey, with the Black Locust variety cited as the best ever tasted. It is a great local company and definitely worth a stop.

Really nice store, geared towards bee supplies. They have a large variety of bee related items, and their prices are fair. The support was great, and I was sold only the items I needed without trying to upsell me anything else.
