Mick is the most knowledgeable coach in all areas of strength training, health, fitness, anything, you name it, he knows it. I had been going to gyms for a long time with hardly any improvement. After starting at Micks Gym, not really sure if I would even like it, I’ve seen major improvements in all aspects of my health life and I have a new respect for strength training. Even if you’re not sure this is something you would like, try it out. This is so much more than a gym, it’s a lifestyle, it’s a family, and it’s people who all have the passion and drive to live better and stronger together.

How many of you have struggled seeing gains, whether it’s strength, aesthestics, or pure performance?? *raises hand* My journey has been strength...get as big and strong as possible. I’ve used countless programs...Wendler’s 5/3/1, Texas Method, Layne Norton’s PR3, Stoppani, Athlean-X...so yeah, I’ve tried a lot and guess what...minimal progress. Sure, I may have added 10lbs here, 15lbs there, but over 2 long years, the gains have been minimal. Not with Mick. This place is like no other...it’s a brother/sister-hood...a crew that has each other’s backs...a family. We get beat down, we push, we yell, we motivate, we lift each other up. I’ve been on this program for only 6 months and my lifts (squat, bench and deadlift) have jumped dramatically across the board (200-lb increase in squat, 120-lbs on deadlift, and 80-lbs on bench) with packing another 25-lbs to my frame. It’s legit. Mick is one-of-a-kind...humble, supportive, motivating, knowledgeable and hungry to get strong just like the rest of us...he practices what he coaches. I came to Mick to coach me and to run his program after my 1st powerlifting competition. Needless say after only 2 weeks my squat has gone up 50lbs. So if you want to get strong this is the place. If you'd rather socialize and take selfies in the mirror with your gloves on, maybe you should reconsider. Because Mick builds Monsters.

I have been with Mick for two years now. When I started, I had zero weightlifting experience and could barely bench or squat the bar. Mick is a great coach, he helped me find my form and helped me set some goals. Since then, I have completed my fourth weightlifting competition, increasing my numbers each time. This is the best gym I've ever joined. I've joined many gyms and never stuck with them; but I have stayed at Mick's due to the results, training, atmosphere and people. I'm a mother of two boys, I work full time and I joined the gym so that I could get stronger for every day life. The results I have gotten are real and the training I've gotten is something I couldn't get anywhere else. Because of Mick's Gym and the people there, today I am stronger both physically and mentally.

Basically my second home. Amazing people, environment, and even better coaching. I do pole vault, Javelin, sprinting, and Powerlifting.
