“I reached out to Stephanie Shipley approximately 21 days before our VA loan was set to close because the mortgage company I had been working with was totally jacking us around. The other company told us everything was good, then they wanted an additional 34K down, and then they would not return a call or an email. However Stephanie took my call, stated she would make it happen and she did. She closed a VA loan for me in 21 days! Everyone knows a VA loan takes some time. Unfortunately we had to buy down the rate to get the numbers to work for us, but I am not blaming that on Guild. The fact is you get what you pay for....We had to pay a fee to use Guild and the rate was a bit higher than the online company we were originally working with. However I got the service I paid for from Guild which was exceptional and amazing, and I got zero service except a major hassle, run around and stress from the online company who was charging no fees to do our loan. Stephanie and her team took care of everything, made sure we were ready to close and that everything was done as needed. We are very grateful for their hard work and closing so fast.”
