Schnucks Festus is a tidy, well-stocked and always clean grocery store. It is a little more expensive and a little bit pricey compared to others, but many find it totally worth it to avoid other large retailers. The store offers a great variety of seasonings and sauces. The staff is very nice, and the deli workers are always knowledgeable and helpful. Some areas can feel a little narrow to navigate. The bakery is popular, especially for cakes. It remains a great place to shop and a preferred grocery store for many.

I ordered food from the deli for an old fashioned wedding reception. My order was accidentally given to another customer (it happens, I have worked food service), but Lisa, Vanessa, and Brandon made sure that we were WELL taken care of.
