Do not take your car to this place. I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE! They don’t know what they are doing. They will half fix your car and then blame you for it.
My experience I popped my tire took it here and it took 4 hours to fix a popped tire. They said because i have low profile tires it was taking longer. Never in my life heard this before

On April 18th 2024 I brought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to Midas on New Halls Ferry Rd because there was a loud squeaking every time I would stop on my brakes. They replaced the RARE rotors and brakes and promised that would fix the issue. I was charged $511. Not even a week later the squeaking returned, I called Midas and made another appointment for the same issue. I explained it was still making the same noise and they took another look at it. They then stated that the squeaking was now because there’s too much tire sheen on the front brakes. I explained to the manager that I just got the vehicle and never used any tire sheen on my wheels. They told me to give it a while and the tire sheen would wear off which would stop the squeaking. I waited months (within the warranty time) and the squeaking NEVER went away. I finally brought it back to them within warranty time and the manager refused to fix the squeaking without us paying again. He tried to tell me I brought my jeep somewhere else and it wasn’t their problem to fix. This shop has been the only place to look at my vehicle for any issues. The manager was rude and refused to come to a resolution. $511 wasted

Do not trust this shop. Dec 21 2024 i brought my car on for a oil change and headlight replacement. They changed the oil and forgot to do the light. I caught it before checking out. The put my car back on their lift and came back and said the price to change the light bulb would be $240. I googled it and confirm accuracy due to the make and model of my car. I believe the tech was unhappy about changing the bulb so they came back and started talking to me about my lugnuts which has nothing to do with my headlight or replacing it. The store manager ask me to come in so he can show me my lugnuts. This is when I noticed the way they had my car lifted that they cracked my kit to my car cuz of the way they put it on the lift. The store manager did not apologize instead he tried to play me like I was dumb and said it was normal to bend the kit. He then proceeds to tell me that it was already cracked prior to them. (Lies). I instantly started taking pics. The manager said he would not be responsible for the damages. I asked for corporate information which he provided . I called corporate and they to has done nothing. All they keep saying is "someone will call me in 48 hours. Today is Feb. 28th and no one is contacting me to resolve my damages. I'm going to have to take them to court and sue. The owner is ignoring me, corporate does nothing and I'm going to file BBB complaint as well as the attorney general and then take my car and get a quote for repair and sue. This was such a unnecessary headache, unprofessional on the business for not communicating or attempting to resolve my complaint. I do not recommend this shop. Severally disappointed customer.

Didn’t catch all my issues on the first diagnosis so I ended up coming right back the next day. This cost me so much more money.

I've had the worst experience at this Midas location. It was a complete bait and switch game, they did not complete the service work that they agreed to and now I am left sending my vehicle to the dealership to repair the work that they had agreed to and I'm out of 6,500. Warning, warning, warning do not use this location.

I went to get my car aligned and a black guy who was there charged me $100 in cash and practically left the car the same with the same problem and I called him on the phone and he only told me that I had to change the two front tires and I changed them and the problem continues, he practically just stole $100 from me for nothing. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Always appear to never be able to fix my car issues without constantly having to go back and forth and paying tons and tons of money , happened last year with my fuel sensor and now again with my heater , after paying 1000$ to troubleshoot my heater now I need a heater core replacement which is probably another grand and my car is still freezing ... I now just kinda give up on this location and will be going to a different mechanic for any future repairs .

This is the worst Midas that is in North county. They have poor customer service. They misdiagnosed my truck 2 times and kept going up on prices. They don't value there clients and they don't have competent people in there doing work of value. They are ripping people off and I strongly encourage people to stay away from them if you don't want to be ripped off.

Dishonest Shop. I can’t say that I plan on coming back. I took my car to this shop, received a quote of about $1,100, and was then told that a part I had just replaced was ’cracked’ and would ‘snap at any moment’. I went to another shop, got a quote of about $150, and was informed that the part I had replaced was actually in good condition and "still looked new." Naively, I couldn’t believe the discrepancy, so I went to a third shop. They agreed that $1,100 was an outrageous quote and confirmed that the second shop was honest and that the part I replaced still looked new.
I was confused as to why Nick was so insistent on having me stay and get the repairs done there. I had already settled in and was waiting for my car, yet he kept pushing the repairs. It’s disappointing to think that someone might see a young woman alone in a shop and think, “Let me see how I can take advantage of her.”
Update: A day after leaving this review, the owner called me, being argumentative and trying to gaslight me. I was offered a free oil change in exchange for deleting my review. I don’t think a $70 oil change is worth selling out people to be scammed out of thousands. Please take this warning and listen to the other women in the reviews.

This is not where you want to take your car! My husband paid for a diagnostic, they told him he needed a tune up. He paid $2300 for a tune up. It drove the exact same way, took it back they said afterwards he needed a new engine! They knew that before! They just wanted that money! Then they didn’t even offer a reimbursement of any form, except some money off of a $17,000 engine! Absolutely unacceptable. We have called corporate and filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau

Just here to take your money. I told that dummy to tell me everything he saw that was wrong. He chose to fix what he wanted and now I have to go somewhere else to get my car fixed. I bet you thought you were going to get more money from me your sadly mistaken. I have already found someone who says the work you all did was sheisty at best. BIG Thumbs DOWN!!!!! Nick the so called owner need to be retrained on how to speak to customers and not lie about the work being done. It is my sincere hope that you are removed from the position you hold. LIES LIES LIES!!!!

Even months after receiving bad service I'm still finding things wrong that the mechanics did. Just had a mechanics put on Struts and shocks. I found out that two screws on my front caliper weren't screwed in and my rear wheel lug was missing a nut . I wouldn't have even noticed if the mechanic hadn't been diligent. I thought the owner was a nice guy, but after spending almost $2000 and having to point out issues that were clear
ly missed ,it's sad that I'm still finding problems related to this shop .Will not be going back!u
