Ferrellgas has been an awesome company to work with! We needed a new 120 gallon tank at our house and Grant, specifically, has been sooooo helpful with any questions that I had and with making things happen. We got the new tank delivered and Jackie was amazing with the install! Ordering propane refills from the app has also been so easy! I would highly recommend!

We are so totally disappointed with delivery and communication services received from Ferrell Gas. Gas was ordered on 12/29/23 and FINALLY delivery was made on 1/20/2024. One email promised delivery on 1/8/24, but no big blue truck came.
Communication was next to impossible so we just waited. Finally there was a phone call promising delivery on 1/20 and we held our breath but the big blue truck did show up and filled our tank. Unfortunately this has happened to us two years in a row. We will never recommend Ferrell Gas to anybody. We use our propane very sparingly as we have no confidence that we would receive service if our tank was near empty. Living 7 miles from Ferrell Gas has not proved to give better service.

The office sales force is always curtious and helpful and do their best to get us the lowest price point. The delivery drivers are just as friendly and put up with my talkative nature. They will generally cover the safety stuff every year. Great service.

The first couple winters in Merriam Woods, I just kept checking my tank. At 20 per cent I would call for a fill and make the payment. My sister suggested I get on Ferrell's monthly payment plan. I did and it has worked so well for me. I realized that if I forgot to check the tank, I could put myself in a serious emergency situation. Now Ferrell keeps track of all that for me. It smooths out my budgeting nicely and I have one less, major, thing to remember!

The best service and price around. Beats AmeriGas hands down by miles. I had nothing but trouble after trouble with AmeriGas and their equipment, and cost!!!!

I called and paid for propane and they said it would be filled by no later than the 10th of April and now it is the 12th and every time I call the automated system says they are closed when it’s 10:45 in the morning on a Wednesday. It’s a waste of time and money. They were quick to take my money but won’t communicate when it’s passed time for service.

They failed to make an appointment that was scheduled I called two days later and they said they would send someone out the next day. Still no propane has showed.

I called Ferrel Gas 2 weeks ago. We had a bad cold front (snow, ice etc).I ran out of propane the following day (-30 degree wind chill) said it was an emergency and I needed propane.I paid to have my tank filled. They said they would be out to fill it by the 17th.They came out last Wednesday and said the propane line that enters the house was "below grade" so they red tagged my tank and said they couldn't fill it and didn't call me back to tell me they didn't fill my tank. I was away from my home.I got home on Friday and found out my tank was not filled after paying nearly $600 for propane and a pressure test. When I spoke to them on Monday the person at the office didn't know what was going on and said they would call me back after they spoke to the service techs.By the very end of the day, they called me back and explained that they needed to move the line that enters into the house. They said it was going to be roughly an hour of labor at $100 per hour.I explained to them that I just bought my house in October of 2021 and the home inspection said there was no issue.Ferrell gas said that it was against code for the line to run "under the grade of the home." (The propane line runs through the side of the wall of the house plain as day). And there are no codes where I live in Bradleyville,MO.I assumed they pressure tested the tank and filled it.Because I never got a call explaining that there was an issue.I assumed that either the gage was malfunctioning or they didn't fill the tank (because the gage was showing empty). When I finally spoke to them late Monday they said those repairs need to be made before they can fill my tank.I'm a father of 4 and the primary source of heat at my home is not working and Ferrell gas seems to be price gouging people for additional repairs. There are no codes or regulations where I live.I told them that I'm not paying for unnecessary repairs (because I just had another company fill my propane tank last year no problems).I requested a refund that they said would take 5-7 business days, so now I have to wait to get a refund to get my propane tank filled by another company.Additionally I paid $60 for a pressure test because they tank was empty and they didn't fill the tank.I would not recommend Ferrell gas. They Absolutely waste your time, money, etc.Thankfully it's not been a terrible winter but for the last 2+ weeks I've been waiting for them to fill the tank just to have them make it an issue and not fill the tank.If there was a problem I wish they would have called me rather than waiting for me to return home expecting to have heat and not having it.
