This is to all the people that are complaining, all the Taney and Stone county libraries are completely volunteer. If you're not happy with the services. Do something about it yourself. Volunteer or donate to it!

This is an excellent library for our community! It's primary sources for funding are fundraisers and donations. The librarian and volunteer staff do an amazing job!

I've been using the Forsyth Library services for just over two years now. Everyone is always so friendly. Small town feel with a good selection of reading materials. I love the events they hold throughout the year, especially the 'Festival of Trees' and the 'Annual Irish Potato Bake'. The Library is funded through their fundraisers and donations from the Community. They are not-for-profit and do not receive any tax funding. Check it out if you are local. Stop in and say 'Hi' if you're passing through!

This is the loudest library I have ever been in. I was charged $1 to use the library computer. I was charged five times the amount quoted on their website for black and white copies, they said it was 10 cents a copy and I was charged 50 cents a copy.

Their selection for kids is extremely limited. The selection is also mostly twaddle. Classical and good living literature is few and far between as well as the physical quality of the books. So many of them are ripped, drawn in, or missing pages. My kids have attended story time during the summer and it's so sad they've been pushed in the back on a single small table. Not to mention the lack of communication on any social media or promotion of the things they do have going on. It's just poorly managed.

Absolute worst library I've ever seen! The selection of books is very limited, they don't even carry any books by noted Ozarks writers, and they only issue library cards on Tuesday. How ridiculous! ou are better off driving to Branson to use their library.
