I've used Heartland Storage for several years and the facilities are always clean, well lighted when needed and easily accessible....
The only recent issue I've had is there's been many times that in my travels and passing by the facility I now use the gate is open - stuck open i guess, I've even tried to put my pass code in the keypad thinking it might trigger the gate to close but it just won't close.... this is not good for the customers security of their units... hopefully whatever the issue is it will be soon resolved.

Great storage facility, only complaint is that there's no entry after 10pm. I feel that if it is a locked gated facility with code entry you should be allowed to get things out of your unit anytime day or night. Having a set time can be difficult for those who have fluctuating schedules and it makes no sense to block access between certain time frames. Website says it's a 24hr facility but signage on gate states otherwise.

When I rented my first unit I got it right away with no problems. A week later I tried to rent a second unit and I spent three days trying to get a second unit and the answering service was not helping me. Finally, I got a call back from the main office on the fourth day and finally got a second unit.

Well I rented a 8x10 and it turned out to be a pod and not a regular unit. That wasn’t going to work for me , and I couldn’t get anyone to call me back to be able to rent a different size. I became very frustrated by the time someone called me back 5 days later. They seriously need to step up their game on customer service.
