The Fort Leonard Wood Main Exchange is a popular shopping destination for military personnel and their families in the area. While customers need a military ID to make purchases, the exchange offers a wide selection of higher-end merchandise, with occasional clearance deals, particularly in the ladies' wear department. Employees are reported to be helpful, and the checkout process is efficient, though some customers prefer dealing with human cashiers over self-checkout. The food court is described as delicious and fast, providing a convenient option for a quick bite. Prices can be hit-or-miss, but the exchange is known for sales and the lack of sales tax, making it a great place to purchase high-ticket items like electronics. Overall, the Fort Leonard Wood Main Exchange is praised as a clean, accommodating facility that caters well to the military community.

My experience was truly exciting; everything is very well organized. The taxis serve the military base exclusively, and the drivers are very friendly. I am so happy to have been able to visit that military base in Missouri.
