I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Gladstone location. I needed a rental for transportation after having been rear-ended. When I arrived, the car they had told me I would be getting was unavailable, so they gave me a different one. Fine, no big deal. Though the one they gave me was not clean and had several scratches and dents, which I pointed out.
The main problem arose when I returned the car. They falsely claimed it had hail damage and tried to charge me for it. This was a blatant attempt to scam me, as the car had no such damage when I returned it. They could not give me adequate evidence or photos to back up their claim, but I ended up having to settle with my insurance company and still pay a deductible.
The added stress from this, while still dealing with stress from my accident was incredibly frustrating and unpleasant.
I will never rent from here again, and strongly advise others to avoid them. Their service is unprofessional and dishonest.

I will not be renting from this rental location ever again, they charged my card without my permission to start a new contract, after I spoke to one person and told them I only want it until Sunday, but one guy said if you take it over until Monday that's when they take a more deposit out, but I was told I can pay the insurance price but after that was effective it would been something different, watch your money is what I'm saying. Then talking to Cassie she don't know anything but different stories. I get told one thing but then something different. One person says this and then get told something different smh, I've been dealing with enterprise for a long time and never got treated like this but its ok for paying customers to get disrespected

Cassie and Jawan were very nice and friendly and made sure my experience was easy and fast. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to rent a car from enterprise on Gladstone .

Summary: This enterprise is great and easy to work with but watch out when long term parking in the lot next to the hardware store.
The spaces in front of Enterprise fill up quickly and then the only option is to park in the lot by the hardware store across the street, at least from my experience.
This is not owned by Enterprise and its park at your own risk. If you park next to the street/grass you should be fine but if you park in the marked lanes next to the building you will be towed the same day. There are clear signs marking it but the confusion is there is one sign saying no parking , one sign says private parking and the third saying no trespassing. In my opinion the Private Parking and No Parking are contradictory as well as the difference between getting towed vs not towed is about 15 feet. Speaking with the tow company, they are towing more from that lot since an incident early this year. So at least I'm not alone in making this mistake. Hopefully you wont run into this issue. I have used this Enterprise every week for months and full parking has only been an issue once.
The review of the team is great. They have been easy to work with and Will is great at customer service. After a few visits I felt recognized and they knew my routine, shortening the process. Out of 30+ visits they have only ran out of vehicles once and I was able to come back an hour later to pick up my rental. Drop offs are easy and they will work with you on many circumstances. Having used most of the rental companies in North KC, it is by far the best in my book.

Beware terrible service. Make you wait an hour before acknowledging they don't have a vehicle you had reserved. Bait and switch tactics, after making you wait an hour try to put you in a midsize instead of the full size you reserved. Can't prove but I'm sure they gave my reservation to another customer at a higher rental rate. Very bad business practices. Should be closed down ??

My experience was not good, first I chose a Malibu to rent and when I go to pick up my car I'm told they don't have that car there. then the car I did get had a hole in the bottom of the floor on the drivers side and the back door didn't even open. then weeks after my rental I get charged 48 dollars for a toll tax that was not told to me before I rented this car, I won't be renting from here again.

Great customer service every time I have been here. No complaints on my part usually get helped right away and if there is a wait it’s never been too long. Shout out to Will, he will take care of you no pun intended.

It was easy renting a car . Reserved on-line so when I picked up the car I was in and out real fast. And it was very easy to return on a Sunday when they were closed when I had to be at work next morning very early. I would definitely rent again from the Gladstone enterprise again.
