My daughter paid $500 for her taxes to be sent to someone else's account. You have not given her her money, and now she is left to go try to get it back herself!!
She has never had an account at the bank it was sent to!!! No idea who's name is on this account!!! She did not give you this account number!!!
There is a huge scam going on here!!
Don't get your taxes done here!!
She is being sent to the bank where it was deposited and being forced to figure this out herself!!
Do the right thing and give her her money!!! And a refund of what she paid you to process her taxes correctly!!!

This was my first time filing with H&R Block and will be the last. For weeks now I have been waiting for my return from the time H&R Block received it from the irs I call and ask what's going on because according to them I was supposed to have it by the 27th and state on the 16th I never get any answers just get told to keep waiting so I keep waiting. I finally find out about financial services # through searching for the # myself I was never offered to be sent over to them or given the # come to find out my refund was sent to someone else's bank account in which the account # has no resemblance to mine. The man I spoke to at financial services told me he would send an email to me so we could get this resolved, I never received any email. I finally got someone from financial services who told me they would be contacting the bank to try to get the money back and send a check in the mail. I don't understand how you can charge someone $500 for this kind of service.

I don't even know where to begin with this...but please save yourself and don't ever go to this location. We made an appointment and paid to have our 2019 amended taxes done on April 3rd 2023 by Amanda. They were immediately mailed and received at the IRS on April 6th 2023. We were told to expect to wait at least 20 weeks before we received our refund. Around the end of August 2023 we began to call the IRS weekly. We were given the same answer each time. It was still in processing. Finally on November 6th we received a call from Ms. Helm at the IRS that our taxes could not be processed because they were not completed correctly and two forms were missing. I called the Gladstone location, the clerk pulled the file and said we could come pick up the missing information. They had no way to fax it to the IRS. Low and behold of course Amanda no longer works there. As of Jan 1st 2024 we still had not received the refund. On Feb 20th we receive a letter from the IRS stating we have until March 14th to send them the needed documents. (The documents were immediately faxed from the UPS store by myself on Nov 7th, with a received faxed confirmation I know its shocking but apparently the IRS never received them so here we are back at square one. After speaking with a co-worker formerly employed by the IRS she advised that H&R block should absolutely fix their mistake, refund the $94 we paid to have the amended taxes done to begin with and have them corrected and resent. I call and spoke to a kind lady named Sue who makes us an appointment with Debbie at 5pm Saturday Feb 24th. We arrived a few minutes early, check in with the clerk up front and proceed to wait 30 minutes, not one time given an update. During this time a young lady comes in for an appointment with Kathy. Apparently her family is very well known because Kathy and the front desk clerk rave about them for some time. Kathy completed the young ladies taxes, she pays and leaves and Kathy and the front desk clerk proceed to gossip about the family. Finally at 5:35 we ask about Debbie and we are told she is with a client so we gave up and left. I am shocked at the horrid experience we have had with H&R block and this location. We have no idea what to do and are left helpless again. Please do not go to H&R block. Save yourselves this completely unnecessary drama from lack of customer service or simply being a good person.

I am reporting this location to the Missouri attorney general because how is this even a district location and they have all these complaints about them messing up people’s taxes and information. My financee went here to get help on the advance and they put his middle name as his last name. Then they had him waiting there for over an hour to see what they had to do to “reset” the process. This is people’s personal and confidential information you guys are handling and you guys are supposed to be professionals to be making all these mistakes! Stay clear and away from this location and read all the negative reviews they are piling up.

I processed my tax refund through here. They told me I would receive $5051, but I ended up owing $2045. Later, when I spoke with the IRS, I learned that a file extension was not made. I can’t find anyone responsible. They don’t answer my calls or emails. Don’t waste your money.

This office lost all of my tax paperwork!!! It has my SSN, DOB, everything! I've tried for months to get it back. They lie amd say they will look then never call me back. Avoid H&R Block!!!!
