I am happy to say, I don't have to go back! The service department made it very clear that none of them liked the product and would never drive a Subaru. Why should I? Traded 2 Subarus for one really nice vehicle

Went on line to lease a new Subaru Crosstrek and tried to get the manager to give me details of the lease, he refused and told me it wasn't possible. He then told me the price had changed from $331 to $480, he was arrogant, unhelpful and dismissive, what is this the wildwest! I'm going to Lee's Summit Subaru

Car listed on Facebook 30,995, car gurus 31,900, received an email locking the price at 30,995. I would have bought it at that price. Get to the dealer and it was 34,900, then the lowest they could go was 32,500. Must be crazy to think to start low price and go high then and people will agree to that. False advertisement. I bought a vehicle 10 years ago here and no problems. The place has gone downhill sadly. Also, on Google reviews they only respond to their 5 star ratings. They do not care about fixing their errors. After a bad review they put a positive one shortly after.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DEALERSHIP ADD ON ACCESSORIES! This is a shady dealership that tries to tackle on an extra $1800 for dealership add on's AKA something you never asked for. Look at the cost breakdown when they show you. It's a brand new car, it doesn't need your "Van Guard Package: Zak Performance Upgrade, ZAKTEK ULTIMATE" that I didn't want or ask for. I told the salesman I didn't want it. He went back to his manager and they said $1300 is the best they could do to reduce the fee. The car was listed as $32K online, after these hidden in person only fees, it was coming to 34K.. so I left and went to Lee's Summit Subaru who have ZERO shady dealership add on accessories. GUESS WHO CALLED ME and told me they'll remove the fee after I told them I wasn't going to pay it and go to another dealership? Van Subaru. At this point, the damage was done. Don't charge innocent people for things they didn't ask for. FYI- I'm well aware that all the dealerships have a dealership fee between $500-$600. This isn't what I'm talking about. I've shopped at enough dealerships through friends and family to know when a dealership is trying to make some extra money with some bogus add on that they "did to the car already" and they say they can't remove the fee. Walk away. Go somewhere else. And btw, Van wants $565 in dealership fees, Lee's summit wants $499 and no "accessory" BS is added to your total. You'll thank me for saving you the couple thousand bucks.

My experience with the collision shop They've had my car 2 1/2 weeks without even contacting me they said it would be 2 1/2 weeks to repair but are now saying another week.I only know that from calling and asking them I called and left a message to inquire about my car and got no response Its been a day and a half. I did get a response from Mark today since I called back and found out it's an extra week I told him I'd just get my car today and have the rest of the repairs done somewhere else and he refused saying it's not drivable. I've been purchasing cars from this dealership and servicing them since 1991 And I will never use this dealership again for anything although my experience with the Chevrolet and subaru service centers have been great for over 30 years it just takes one negative experience for me this is 10,000 dollars I wish I had given to Olathe Subaru

I purchased my used legacy in late summer 2022, I was satisfied, until I had to deal with the finance department. They added all kinds of hidden fees to jump the price up. Then to add insult to injury they didn't properly service the vehicle before selling it. aside from me paying for recommended service due to milage. The car had a loud knocking sound. I brought it back to be serviced, they guaranteed it was the recall they fixed and that would fix the problem. Well, it didn't, and 9 months and extended warranty ended. I happen to take it to muffler mart due to the tailpipe having to be welded back on to the muffler. They noticed the heat shield was loose and got it fixed for me. The car is quite now, no thanks to the service guys at Van Subaru.

I didn't have any problem with the service department, they did great, when we added our hitch after we bought from another dealer. The sales department is deceptive. We went one night and talked to the sales guy, test drove and we're ready to buy. The price listed online is what we were willing to pay. When we test drove there was 2,000 worth of add ons. Crazy stuff that nobody wants that they don't really even add. Stuff like oh we offer this special coating to the fabric (it's leather, what the heck are you adding), stickers on the door so they don't chip ok you know that costs $5.00. The sales guy said not to worry that extra cost they would wave it. We left and were to go back in two days to make it official. Show up and the sales manager refused to take it off. So $2,000 more than the online price. The sales manager didn't even come talk to us. We left went to Lawrence McCarthy Subaru bought the same vehicle that day. They were cheaper than the inflated price that Vans had raised theirs too. In the end it was $1,000 more than what Vans was faking advertising, but we walked in and the car was ready for us. Closed the deal in 30 minutes. Price was taken care of over texts and we just had to do the paperwork. Thanks McCarthy Subaru for not adding a bunch of stupid add ons. That is just a money grab by Vans and they had done it on every vehicle we had viewed.

This dealership did not work with my trade at all. They said their offer was "more than generous" while Kelly blue book said it was low. After deciding to trade it in as I had no better options, they ended up listing it for nearly 100% of what they gave me for you. Yep, you heard that right 100 PERCENT of their "more than generous offer." If you can find a car you like elsewhere, I would highly recommend you go somewhere else.

THIS RATING IS INDICATIVE OF THE CAR DEALERSHIP ALONE, NOT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT (which seems to have high marks). This is a dealership that any prospective car buyers should steer clear of. In a car market where limited supply and steady demand have dramatically shifted the car-purchasing dynamics, shops like Van Subaru are taking full advantage of customers in the worse way. What you will find here is hidden fees, surcharges for add-ons you do not want (and they likely did not even include such as a "clear coat" or "nitrous in the tires") and outdated high pressure sales tactics. They engage in a number of unethical sales approaches and pricing strategies that often leave a customer paying above MSRP, after trade-in. On one visit, the dealership actually refused to return the keys of my potential trade-in to me so they could keep me in the store. The way this dealership attempts to sell cars is nothing short of predatory and gives all salespeople and car dealerships a bad name. If it's convenient, feel free to visit a Van dealership to look at models and test drive. They have a decent enough showroom. I would just discourage anyone from spending money with them and definitely do not hand them the keys to your vehicle. STAY AWAY.

Bought my car in August of 2022. Extremely friendly and reliable staff in both sales and service. Dea and April are great! Would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a Subaru!

I made an appointment over the phone for a synthetic oil and oil filter change for my Subaru Forester. I agreed on the price of $55 after taxes with having a $20 coupon discount from their website. Upon arrival I got my car checked in and was speaking with one of the service members, the older guy. I showed him the coupon I had and he got angry that coupon only discounts $15 off not $20 from the synthetic. He started yelling that they wouldnt profit offering service that low. I requested to speak with a manger twice. He went by himself to speak to him and manager offered $25 discount so the total price after taxes would be $75, which is completely innacurate of what I was informed over the phone. I drove to their service center 40 miles both ways to get my car seviced for a price that I agreed on which was $75 (regular price) - $20 coupon discount = $55. After requesting to talk to manager myself, the older guy told me that mamager is busy and shoved my car keys to my face and literally made me leave without even letting me speak. Unbelievable !!!! Avoid this place at all costs.Service: Oil change

Called about a vehicle posted on a used car site. Was quoted multiple different listing prices from different sales reps regarding the same vehicle. I had multiple text messages from different representatives. I made an offer to purchase that day and quoted them a price , instead of countering or at least attempting to meet me half way (as most dealers typically do) they sent me a quote for 3k more! Wow !

After having an accident on the freeway (debris on the road that popped a hole in my tire and door), I had the lucky pleasure of ending up at Van Subaru. I was so taken back by my service advisor, Rick (Lindsey). He is very awake and incredibly helpful, he started with "I'm sorry this happened, pretty scary but welcome to Missouri" and a laugh for everyone around us. He not only spoke to me in detail about the car, but also the tow driver who brought the car, to make sure he was not missing any information for the team to check the car in detail -but also for my insurance claim. He worked hard to put me in contact with the lovely Angela (Pencook), in collision to make sure I scheduled an appointment before leaving that day. He mentioned it might take months, but that I could at least get started. Angela & nice tall gentleman were incredibly lovely and patient, they took all my information and said, "here's our card and have your insurance call us, we will be ready for them". After such a scary morning, and hours of waiting, it ended with three wonderful people looking out for their Subaru drivers! Thank you Van Subaru!
