If I could give a zero I would. Worst fiascio I've ever been involved with. Breached contract. Did not deliver on time and cost 86 year old additional moving fees. Refuse to honor contract and deliever the last 100 miles. This is elder abuse as well as breach ofcontract. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE

Great experience from start to finish. Will definitely recommend PODS to friends and family in the future.

Never again it was like the Pod was dropped. All the wheels on my toolboxes and cabinets were shattered. Up charge if to don't have a two car concrete driveway. Pod will not hold the amount they say it will. It would have been better and cheaper to get a uhaul with a tow dolly. Then put everything in a storage unit till the house was ready. The initial cost sounded good, but I still had to get a uhaul trailer to move the rest. Too expensive to get another Pod. The stuff I moved myself was not damaged.

It was a great experience using PODS for my long-distance move. They delivered the POD, I loaded it up. They came, picked it up sotred it a week or so then delivered it to their facility in my new city. It was delivered to my new residence as expected. Easy Peasey ?

I was charged for relocating my pod from my front to back driveway because they showed up outside the delivery window provided and never called my secondary number I provided. I spent a long time on the phone with customer service and never got my charge refunded. I also was then almost charged another $280 for a month of rent because they didn't come pick up the empty pod on the day scheduled and only refunded that charge after spending an hour on the phone with customer service and threating to remove my credit card from the account so they couldn't bill me for them failing to pick up the container.

Awesome experience. They delivered quickly. I got my stuff back in the same manner I placed it in the pod. It was redelivered timely. Picked up while I was gone! Already referred PODS to multiple people. Will use again if needed!

The delivery and pick up service was fine, however, there were issues when we ordered the POD delivery and have been overcharged for a rate we were suppose to get during a discounted promotion. Sales agent told us to request a refund which we did , however, the Account Specialist claims we are not entitled to. There was an online contract signing issue, so the agent sent us a different contract and told us to request refund when we called to have POD picked up. We did just that and were told no refund do to the contract we signed. Funny how our bank account was debited twice, once for the $439 and then when it was picked up that very day, debited account again $299. Later that same day refunded the $299. Now they had a contract somewhere for the $299 or they would never have been able to debit our account for that amount. My understanding is the phone call order is recorded and if they investigate it properly, they will hear the sales agent instruct us to request refund. This is not rocket science just people needing to do their jobs. You trust these companies to do the right thing and stand behind what they tell the customer. Still Waiting to hear from PODS. Hard to resolve when you can't speak directly to anyone who will pick up the phone other than sales agents who have no authority to resolve the issue. Bad business practices.

I didn’t end up using Pods, since drop off and pick up prices are too high IMO, and you cannot get it same-day or even next day. If you have a friend with a pickup / SUV with a trailer hitch, rent a U-Haul instead. Especially if you only need it for a week or 2, as it is a way better value and more cost-effective than a pod (half a much for 10 days). Even the cheap knockoffs are pricey and rent a month at a time; it’s not the daily rate that is high, but as I mentioned earlier, drop off and pick up costs are high, $60 each. The U-Haul was $140 for 10 days ?

Easy to set up at first but the terrible scheduling availability makes this a terrible service. Had to frantically call a slow customer service multiple times as they wouldn't originally pick up until AFTER I had to vacate the previous property. That, plus the awful app experience makes this an overall bad service. Never again.

Driver hit the fiber line when he delivered to my neighbor. This has resulted in us being without internet for days. Instead of doing anything about it. They just left it there so it’s taken multiple days to coordinate with google to figure out the problem. If they would have been straight up about it. We could have had the issue fixed already. Very unprofessional.

Having a pod was convenient, as we could load it whenever we wanted. It was easy to set up pick up and have it moved. The initial quote was only a portion of what we paid. We were charged when they dropped it off, moved it and then picked it up after we emptied it.

I am only giving Pods one star for the initial drop off of the Pod. They put it right where we wanted it. After that, their scheduling and customer service went downhill extremely fast. Their 800 numbers are to call centers overseas. When I called to schedule the pickup from the original location and the move to the new location, I needed to speak to someone that could put notes on my account and make sure they understood that the container had to be picked up from the property by the end of the day. He read back to me what we discussed and I assumed at that point that we were placed on the schedule. Keep in mind, I called 3 weeks in advance of the move because I knew it was a holiday weekend and it would be busy. Moving day came and nobody from Pods showed up. My elderly mother's belongings were to be dropped off at her new apartment, but when Pods didn't show up, I tried calling the 800 numbers and could not get ahold of anyone. Their wait times were 30 minutes or more. I drove to the Grandview location to talk to someone in person that might be able to help, but only the warehouse guy was there. He pulled it up on the computer and saw the notes from my call 3 weeks prior, but said it was never put on the schedule. They were booked that day and couldn't pick it up until the following week! Needless to say, that was not going to work. I called all of my friends and we ended up unloading the Pod and putting everything in trucks and vehicles to get it all moved that day. When I demanded a refund, their "Advocacy Disputes" person emailed me and said as a "courtesy", they would refund me $200 of the $651 I had paid for this fiasco. I replied to their email, explaining the situation again, so they would understand that we didn't use the pod because they never put it on the schedule when I called. They then said they would give me back $497 of the $651 that we paid because "you used it for storage".I am absolutely livid that we have been treated so horribly by this company. They dropped the ball and have admitted that they did so, but refuse to refund me the complete amount. They basically want me to pay for the 3 weeks the pod sat on the driveway so we could "store your belongings". We didn't order the pod to be used for storage!!! Do not use this company. You cannot reach people when you need to and their customer service is absolutely horrible. Don't get me started on their scheduling process.
