“This place was great for the Homesteading Conference I attended here. It was historic and had an interesting look to it. The view of the river and riverboat was nice, and the interior harkened back to a bygone era I liked.”

“I was there for my friends wedding, I was even involved in officiating it. It was a beautiful place. The drinkers were good and well priced, the entire place looked stunning, then only negative thing I can say is this. I understand you don't want wedding crashers. But crazy to me how my fiancée shows up exactly 1 minute late, is in a dress with her hair and makeup done, and is knocking at your front door and your Bartender looks at her and ignores her. Crazy to me how she has to stand outside and watch her friends get married through a gap in the fence. Maybe at the very least you let her inside the venue instead of letting her sit outside like a stray dog. I get you dont want the wedding interrupted. But 1 minute late is nuts to me. And at the very least let her sit inside instead of standing outside for 30 minutes waiting for the final I do's. As I said. Beautiful venue, fantastic hosts, a wonderful night. But seeing my fiancée eyes through a fence half way through the marriage is absolutely heart breaking.”
