WOW! I have a condition that causes my blood vessels to expand in my head that cause horrible head pressure, numbness in face & increased heart rate. The prescription I am prescribes is "controlled substance" that I take every day 2x a day to control episodes. My prior prescription had been prescribed & filled on 7/7/22 my doctor refilled my RX on 8/4/22 (31 days in July) For some reason my insurance declined the RX and told me to pay cash and apply for reimbursement. The pharmacist, Jonathan refused to allow this. I showed Jonathan pictures and let him know how important it is for me to have this medication. I spoke to CVS corporate and they also told me to pay cash and figure it out with insurance later. Jonathan, the pharmacist refused to let me pay cash saying it was against CVS policy. I did everything Jonathan had asked me to do so he could get my prescription filled for me. He even asked me to go to the police department and file a police report on medication that was stolen from me in APRIL!! It made absolutely no sense to me as I never even asked for replacement on those medications nor did I EVER fill my RX early( not even possible with CVS and state regulations on "controlled substances" or as Jonathan referred To as the "narcs" I was getting filled). I am physically handicapped and did everything to try to get the situation resolved for hours on 8/4/22 not knowing that Jonathan had the ability to fill my RX this whole time. After talking to corporate on 8/5/22 and them reassuring me that he could not do this, Jonathan called me at 12:30 on 8/5/22 to tell me he just wasn't filling it because my police report he had me file from APRIL was not a finished. Jonathan had the report number, spoken to police officer(which wasn't even necessary for my insurance, my doctor or CVS) At this point, over 24 hours into him refusing to fill an RX that absolutely cripples me when I don't have it, I got pretty angry at Jonathan and called him a not so nice name. I went back into cvs with my doctors office on the phone asking Jonathan to refill it. He once again refused to even my doctors office. As I calmly sat in the chair contacting the corporate office AGAIN, Jonathan called the Police Department. He agreed to the police department that my prescription was refillable and agreed I did everything that he asked but since I called him a bad name over 24 hours after he continued to refuse my refill he was not going to fill. The irony of that situation is that I said the "not so nice word" over the phone. He had no problem talking loudly in front of customers that he was not going to refill "narcs" & that I was "lying" about speaking to CVS corporate & mocking me. Now that corporate is actually involved, Jonathan says he wouldn't fill because of the not so nice word I said to him. What he's forgetting is the 30 hours prior to my "not so nice words" he was denying my refill just because he could. The Harrisonville police officer CALLED ME and let me know Jonathan agreed for my husband to pick up and said that my husband just needed to be sure to know my DOB and address. My husband went in at 6pm to pick up and he stated that he did not tell the police officer that(guess they're liars as well). This is a Friday and I had already told my doctor that everything was fine. Jonathan has me in a serious health crisis and I'm already having major issues from missing one dose. I have attached pictures of what has already happened to me this evening from missing one dose of my medication. We have filed a report with the State of Missouri Board of Pharmacy hoping he can't do this to others.. If you have a serious condition and are on a "controlled substance" DO NOT go here. Our Pawn Shop and partner with NoMODeaths to distribute free Narcan to people in need. Makes me so sad to know how terribly "addicts" get treated. I have always felt a need to make people know they deserve more. After these few
