Bought a new vehicle from them 2 years ago and had a great experience. Went back to get a new truck. Zach and Eli were very helpful and we found one we liked. Then the manager hit us with a “market adjustment” $7000 over sticker. We walked out the door and we will be using another dealershipUpdate: a few days later we get an email from the same salesman stating the price was lowered (within $300 of what we offered). Called to inquire and they quickly backtracked saying the written offer in the email was incorrect and they were still $7000 over sticker with a “market adjustment”.Easy to understand why Ford and other companies are trying so to ditch dealerships.

i purchased a **** escape from this company back in Nov. of 2022. in 3 months it started running rough. called ********** and they said its probably spark plugs and then we would have to change coil packs . The Following month the same issue hooked it up to the engine diagnostics at an auto part store. They said it was an misfire in cyn 4 . At this time we was at a dead end so we called Max Ford and they said that we need to bring it in for a diagnostic for 150 dollars , /They told it was the engine . but there was a few customers in the waiting room and they said that they were told the same thing . They came back after we asked how much this was going to cost and was it covered under the warranty? was told that it was going to cost ******* and it doesn't cover under the warranty. So we were sent to the sales department to see if we can trade it in and get another car under the same loan. We spent hours there that day . We were so frustrated and felt very overwhelmed . So they refused to help us we did some research in the following months come to find out the same year and model is in recall and there is an big lawsuit. We contacted some lawyers and were told that there is so many cases that they are overwhelmed. I had a neighbor change the spark plugs and a friend changed the coil packs .Still was having the same issue ..Finally spoke to another lawyer and he suggested to file an complaint on here and find a local lawyer ... Zero stars for taking advantage of a disabled woman ,,,,,

This dealership is a nightmare. We will not use it again in the future and have told all of our friends and family to never use them either. They avoided my calls and texts for the entire duration of our 60 day temp tags when I tried inquiring where the title was so I could license and tag our vehicle. A week before our temp tags expired I finally got someone to tell me that they were waiting on the lien release from the previous owner! I was told someone would call me back the next day with a progress report. Surprise, surprise, I never got a call. So the day before our temp tags expires I called again. Spoke to a sales manager who acted like I was the biggest inconvenience, interrupted me while explaining the situation and transferred me to some voicemail.. so I had to call again and luckily spoke to a different sales manager who said he would look into what was happening and call me back in a few hours. And he did! All he disclosed was a ball was dropped by several employees. He overnighted the title to us. It arrived at 6pm so the dmv was closed. When I went in to license and tag my vehicle I got charged $50 in late fees… I am so done with this dealership that I’m not even going to contact them to try to get reimbursed for the late fees that were completely their fault. The absolute worst experience of my life in buying a vehicle. Par none. And the absolute worst customer service ever. We also had a long, drawn out issue in even getting a second key from them for the vehicle we bought. And there was zero communication in the inspection and delivery process. Zero. Just UGH!!! If I could give zero or negative stars I would!Edit**** They did reach out to me after reading this review and mailed me a check for $50 to compensate us for the late fee.

I bought my car from Max Ford and was very pleased with everything. But do not take your car to be fixed. I have taken my car there now three times for the same issue and I’m still fighting the same issue. They claim they fixed it. If that is the case they did a poor job since I keep having the same problem. No difference from when I took it in the first time.

Max Ford earned this review and, in all honesty, turned it from a one start to a five star. A few months ago I brought in my F-150 with a check engine light that was throwing an intake manifold error code. They were able to get me in and replaced the whole manifold and got me back on the road. Before I'd burned through a whole tank of gas, the same error code came back up. Round two, same diagnostic fee and they found and fixed some underlying causes that were causing the IM issue. I wasn't thrilled about paying for round two, but I've worked on enough stuff myself that I know it can take a couple of runs. However, same issue. Hadn't used a full tank of gas before the same code came up and I brought it back in. I told my service rep I wasn't happy about paying another diagnostic fee. His response was, "I don't blame you", and he waived it. I was expecting a call about how much it was going to cost to fix the problem for round three, but later that day he called, explained that what the issue was and that Max was going to take care of it. It's now been a few weeks (and I've made it through a few tanks of gas!) and no engine lights and the truck is running good. They stood by their work, took care of me when I'm not a regular with them, and were responsive to customer needs. For me, that says a lot and I'll recommend a company that stands by their job any day. Specific shout out to Alan. He did a great job, was communicative and responsive! Thank you.

The best dealership with the best sales and financing team.In today’s market to get a very low apr for your car loan is unheard of but they achieved it for me. ( and I do not have perfect credit)I am sitting in my dream car because of Levi the sales expert and the team behind him made it possible.Thank you Max Motors, you have gained a forever customer.

DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY! I traded in my vehicle 2 weeks ago to another dealership that I purchased from Max Ford in January. After 2 weeks of jumping through hoops getting them more information to prove it’s sold, they just told me I would get the $4000 in 45 days!!! I had to write a check to cover the cancellation to be able to buy a vehicle at the new place because of there warranties and now I don’t get the money back for 45 days? Crazy. What a rip. I was very loyal, even getting all of my service work done here and now I will never be back.

Do NOT go for any kind of repairs…. This place has had my truck for a grand total of almost SIX MONTHS! Got my truck back, control arm busted, had to bring it back to have it sit in the service place for over a week, now it’s in the body shop just sitting there as I drive by everyday to see if they are working on it yet. It’s in the body shop due to max motors denting my truck while getting worked on, they and had to bring it back a second time cause they didn’t do it correctly! Slow as molasses service, and you’ll be out a car for ENTIRELY TO LONG! I will NEVER use this AWFUL business AGAIN! And will be spreading the word like wildfire to steer clear of this place!

Usually dealerships are not the best at regular service on your vehicle, but Max Ford is the exception! They value my business, they are very good at service and repairs….and my car is not even a Ford! Thanks Max service dept team for always taking care of your customers! By the way, I Will absolutely buy another car from Max!

I found a 2023 Ford F350 Lariat that had all the options I was looking for online at Max Motors. I called and spoke with Jake about pricing. They worked with me to get the pricing I was looking for. I told Jake that I lived in Louisiana and would drive to the dealership in 2 days to pick up the truck. I asked him to get everything ready so when I got there I could get in and out quickly. Jake was going out of town for vacation the day I was arriving but gave all the information to Brandon in sales and also Brandon the sales manager. When I got there they immediately took me to the truck and showed it to me. The sale manager knew I wanted to swap the tires and rims off my trade in with the new truck I was buying. He said let's get you into financing and while you are doing that we will swap the tires for you. Rob from financing came out and said I have an opening, let's get you in now. By the time I got the financing done they were just about finished swapping the tires out. I have bought a lot of vehicles and I will tell you the paperwork for the financing was the easiest I've ever seen. Simple, straight forward and nothing hidden! This is the best dealership I have ever purchased a vehicle from. I was so impressed that when I trade my truck in I will have them order my next one and make the 9 hour drive to pick it up!! If I could give them 10 stars I would.

We buy all our vehicles from Max Ford of Harrisonville. There service department is top notch and always takes care of us. The service manager Jesse and service advisor Allan are incredible. Always recommend them to anyone wanting a great company to work with.

I purchased my new vehicle recently at Max Ford of Harrisonville. Let me tell you, I absolutely ENJOYED my experience at this dealership. The process of purchasing was extremely simple - they really walk you through the process step by step.Robert Barber was the sales representative that assisted me; he's very knowledgeable about the vehicles and patient. He's very thorough in going over every key feature of the vehicle, which helped me tremendously. Right before leaving the lot, Robert took the time to help configure the car setting to my liking. I appreciate all his assistance and that of the other folks at Max Ford.I will definitely purchase from this dealership again!
