Very fast and reasonable priced. He explained everything to my son as he worked on his guitar. I will definitely be going back there again and recommend them to anyone that I know that needs service on a guitar in our area. I would give higher than a five star if available.

I took my electric bass to Robert for a setup on the recommendation of a friend. Not only did I find Robert to be professional, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly; but it was by far the best setup I have ever had performed on an instrument. Robert took the time to explain to me what need to be done and why, what didn't need to be done and why, and the finished result blew my mind. I will definitely be using Brooks Acoustic's in the future, and recommending him to fellow musicians. Thanks Robert!

Robert brooks can fix any guitar, regardless of its condition! I own his “Humpty Dumpty” hollow body harmony he repaired from a train wreck, and I also got reunited with my grandfathers vintage Kay Note after selling it to a local trading post and Robert picking it up and doing a sleeper conversion on it! He is the only person I trust with my instruments!!! I HIGHLY recommend Brooks Acoustics for anything guitar repair or build wise! He builds the most amazing guitars with the some of the best tones I’ve ever heard coming out of small bodied acoustics!

I operate "The Break Room" - a live music venue that supports local St. Louis non-profits. Robert has personally worked on a dozen or so guitars in our collection. His prices are very competitive and his work is excellent. He also supports many of our artists when they pass thru town to play for us. He continually impresses these folks with his knowledge and results. I recently purchased one of his Harmony mid-1960's acoustic guitar restorations. Not only does it look very cool, many of our artists compliment how nice it plays. I would no hesitate to recommend Brooks Acoustic for any of his services.

I brought a guitar to Brooks that I feared could not be salvaged. Robert clearly explained the issue and did a wonderful job fixing it. My guitar was ready next day at an affordable price. I would highly recommend Brooks for any restoration work that you need.
