Well, just to say, I did not have a great experience with the Hazelwood facility. They gave me a 40 mile charge even though I let them know that I was bringing it back to the Hazelwood facility so when I got back I had 70 miles, which, of course that would be exact because I was bringing it back to the facility which would be another 30 miles. But I was charged, so I don’t see where that was fair to me. If I told him exactly what I was doing I was leaving from Hazelwood going to O’Fallon and coming back and dropping it off at the Hazelwood facility. There was no way that to and from would be 40 miles or less that made no sense to me.

We had been flying on a PCS move from 8am(Hawaii time) to 11:59pm mainland time. I’d made the reservation in advance, even called to confirm when we arrived in Seattle, was reassured everything was good. Then we land and proceed to the U-Haul place and they end up costing me an extra $200+ dollars on top of the $400+ for the actual rental. because the after hours rental process didn’t work (it just kept making us redo steps and when it finally went through, we never received the code to release the keys, we waited 2hrs outside in the cold) i spent hours trying to figure out who to call to help with the issue. Needless to say it didn’t work and then when we asked to be compensated for our time and having to come out of pocket for a hotel room just to wait until the next morning when they opened so we could actually get the van that we’d reserved for a midnight pickup. We were told that we would need to reach out to customer service although it wasn’t customer service who messed up.

Spent 30 -45 mins at midnight, looking for my 24 hr pickup ,, The app didn’t supply the lock info i had to wait another 30mins to speak with customer service, future reference park the 24hr trucks in front of the establishment. Rather then that the staff was top tier

I needed something to move my giant toolbox with. Uhaul normally doesn't allow you to rent a pickup truck and trailer combined. But Doug being a mechanic as well allowed me to do so. Reasonably priced as well. When I showed up to get there was a super cute lady (never got her name) there who was very nice and accommodated my needs..if I ever need to back I hope she will be working .

Doug's was so helpful, it seemed any problem we ran into he had a solution for it, and david was so helpful and nice aswell, literally one of the best services Iv ever had at a U-Haul before!!!!! Thank you guys again!

Manager Dan or whatever his name is was beyond rude, not helpful and saying smart things under his breath. But Mr. Henry was so sweet and helpful and took the time to explain things to my friend who was moving out of town. Mr. Henry is the only reason I'm leaving two stars and not one.

There was a mix up with the truck that I had reserved online and the manger did an amazing job rectifying the situation. They made sure I was taken care of by setting me up with another truck and even gave me a ride to where it was. Great customer service!

They got me in same-day last minute on a Saturday to wire my car properly in preparation for towing a trailer. The manager and staff were all very nice and accommodating.

The worst service ever. It took two guys 2 and a half hours to put on a tow hitch. If we were not sitting there watching they wouldn’t have even started it. The guys were just d*** and had no clue what they were doing. It was ridiculous.

Do not use U-haul for anything. My recent issue involved U-boxes. I rented 2 U-boxes for a move out of my old place in June 2020. There were a couple of issues then regarding a lock that did not get delivered with the equipment and the placement of the U-boxes but those are minor.I had to call the 800 number to have them delivered to my new address. The first call I was bounced around 4 times. They had issues finding my boxes. They setup a delivery of 2 U-boxes. I find out later they are 2 NEW U-boxes, and not the units with my belongings. I call and get someone who is actually knowledgeable this time. However, I am now told they cannot deliver them for me without buying the move help, I would need to get them myself. But they can let me rent a truck if I need. This was not in the contract details when I signed up! Do yourself a huge favor and never use U-haul!!!
