“This property is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Not just a place to stay while visiting Hermann, but one of the highlights of our trip. Besides being luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful; the White House Hotel offers patrons the opportunity to step back into history while they walk throughout the gorgeously reconstructed 19th century hotel. Definitely allot time to walking throughout the grand hall, numerous rooms set up as they would have been when the hotel was first built, complete with historical and interesting information displays, and the underground speakeasy. On top of all the aspects of the property itself, Sable is an incredible host, whose care and enthusiasm really shines. She's delighted to share loads of history related to the hotel, give recommendations around town, and is also very responsive and helpful when checking in and during your stay. Enough cannot be said about Sable or the property, you will not regret staying here.”

“My husband and I had dinner here last night. It was a beautiful, intimate setting. Even though there were three other families and couples around, it still felt very romantic. The host, David, was very friendly. He is a one man show but he ran everything very smoothly. The food was AMAZING. I cannot put into words how good the food was. It was a 4 course meal and from start to finish every bite was mouth watering. Highly recommend the Vallet House if you are in the Hermann, MO area.Food & drinks: AMAZING”
