“We were grateful to have reservations at the Southern Inn. Compared to other hotels we have been to, it is odd for the front desk and lobby to be closed at 9:30pm. If we had been delayed on our arrival time, I don't know what we would have done, since we don't know the area. The AC worked well and the TV service was good. Water temperature was lukewarm for the shower, and the refrigerator didn't seem to be working. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the continental breakfast. Of course, compared to other hotels with similar offerings, it was lacking. Coffee was good but muffins and cookies were not a filling breakfast to start the day. Sorry.”
