One cashier for the 20+ people in line? Set my items down and left. I will spend my money elsewhere...seems to be a common theme at all Burlingtons in the KC metro.

For a coat and jacket store only having one isle that's basically empty for jackets is ridiculous. Burlington Coat factory where are the coats? Plenty of clothes and useless stuff though.

The assistant manager Terra is the absolute worst thing to ever happen to Burlington. Her can't do attitude is sickening. When I was there today she was standing around in a puffy trench coat telling people that if they didn't like the 45 minute wait in line that they where free to leave. Several people asked her to open a second register and she flat out told them no that she had stuff to do. And then continued to just stand around which then made the people in line furious. She literally has no business in a management position. Her attitude alone is costing this store money. And several of the regular customers in line stated that they hate dealing with her and that she is always like this.
This store can get better but not until they fire this women!

I'm so mad!!!!!!!!!! I bought my son a christmas gift and it didn't fit. They would not take my purchase back stating it was not on the receipt. I only went to Burlington one time so I only have one receipt. The price tag was torn on the package that I had purchased. They and I can only assume that the clerk rang something else up since the tag was torn on what I was buying. They did not have another package like what I purchased. I was willing to exchange for the correct size but of course they did not have XL. This not only took over an hour and made me late getting back to work I left with the wrong size because they wouldn't exchange nor refund. The day I made my purchases it was busy due to being just before Christmas. Lesson learned if you shop there which I won't anymore, if they are busy you will need to hold up the line and check every item on your ticket to make sure their employee rang everything up correctly in case you would need to return the item. So aggravating and a waste of my time and money which I don't have extra to throw away. I wound up giving my purchase to a co worker who said that her son would fit the item. Again I am not wealthy by any means in fact poor would be a better description! Thanks to Burlington I threw money away that I did not have extra. Single Mom trying to afford Christmas and make ends meet. They lost a good customer when they lost me. I'm honest and pay my bills. Eventually they will only have the dishonest customers left. Then out of business. Can't say I will cry when that happens!!!!!!!!!! Shop there at your own risk!! I will not spend money at a business that steals from me! Or hires incompentant employees

Always just two cashiers, even when there's 12 people on line. The wait is long, and it's frustrating to see employees doing work around the store, but not helping at checkout. Customers shouldn't be on line for 15-20 minutes

This place is horrible and manager is very rude my mom was just trying to find a dressing room and ask all employees but no one wanted to help us so my mom ask the manager to help us but all she said was that she couldn't even help us at all to find the dressing room because she said the dressing room was in the back I went back there nothing I saw nothing then asked the manager again but she responded with u would have to wait until someones back there then my mom was just asking for her to open it then she kicked us out the store for no reason then said if we come back she will call the cops on us bad service ngl !!!!

Rude service, Employee theft, long lines, messy store, stuff not in the right places, unsafe parking lot, used broken products put back on the floor to be sold again, I mean the list goes on and on and on..... And as for the "Owner" or whom ever responds to these, they clearly don't care because if they care about your complaints or mine they would absolutely go in and clean house in this place!

It's good when they have stuff but when they don't have s*** you can't get anything because all the moms with 10 kids buy everything up🤦🏽♂️ now you can't even go to the restroom freely, you have to have a code to unlock the door, and the employee has to walk with you instead of giving you the number to the restroom which is ridiculous and having them do something extra is a pain in the ass and it's probably because people are thieves.

This location in Independence on 40 Hwy needs more than one or two cashier's. Customers should never be in line for over 15 minutes or more
