Updating my review from years ago to reiterate;I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The staff here are amazing. Everyone from the front desk, the vet assistants to Dr. Cure herself are just top notch.I never have any suprises when it comes to the bill as they go over everything in advance to make sure I am comfortable not only with the price, but any treatment my pets need. They take the time to explain what is needed to be done at home, and have called me multiple times to follow up and make sure everything is going good and I understand instructions or have any questions. You can tell they truely care about animals in their care from the way they interact with your pets. I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough.

2-years ago, they treated our senior dog for arthritis with their "laser therapy", and $500 later, it did nothing. We ended up getting glucosamine supplements on Amazon for $20, and he was a completely different dog—able to walk and run. This past week, my parents took their senior cat in because she was losing weight. After $400 and some testing, they decided to treat her for hyperthyroidism. She was on the medication for 3 days and my dad found her dead on the floor. She wasn't incredibly sick when he brought her in for a checkup. He felt that the vet didn't explain or offer any documentation for the thyroid cream, side effects and how to effectively manage the issue. Yes, she was a senior cat, but it was too much of a coincidence that she died immediately after starting her new medication. We believe she was either misdiagnosed or overdosed, or the medication had an adverse affect on her heart.I had a cat 5 years ago with a thyroid issue who was on the same medication, in Colorado. The vet made it very clear that I needed to wear rubber gloves when applying it and gave proper instructions for treatment. None of this happened at Cedar Ridge with their staff. In addition to, my dad had been applying it without gloves, and 2 days later, he started having vertigo and had to go to the ER. We wonder if the thyroid cream got into his system and made him feel sick.Cedar Ridge did not accept responsibility for the cat dying, offer compensation or suggest a necropsy of her.

My rabbit jumped off his hutch and broke his back. I was bringing him in to be euthanized but he passed on the way here. The two wonderful people at the desk were so kind. Thank you.

They love my baby girl so much. They know her when she walks in, even if we don't have an appointment. They have switched appointment dates and times for us when things came up. I love this place!!!

We have been taking our dog here for the last few years. We have never really had any issues. They have taken good care of my dog and whenever I need to go out of town I know where to take my dog!

My daughter took her dog that she adopted from wayside waifs in grandview Missouri seven years ago to this clinic to be peacefully euthanized after killing two small dogs. This clinic told her she had not done all she could and that he probably thought the two small dogs were toys. They told her to give him a chance. My daughter has had him for 7 years and does not make this decision lightly. She has had him in therapy and in training. She loves him and this devastates her. She should never have been treated like this and frankly I’m very disappointed. This clinic should re-evaluate their practice and truly look at individual owners and respond appropriately.

May 2022 by Hi it me
Vet basically told us we never helped our rescue dog. When we adopted him he had been abused terribly and was violent towards other dogs. We gave him 7 good years of not being in a pound and living a good happy life. He got out of our fence and killed 2 dogs recently. Prior to this he had attacked other dogs but never killed them. We have put him through behavior training and have tried to rehome him after prior attacks. After he killed 2 dogs my family sat down and through a lot of discussion we begrudgingly collectively agreed that putting him down would be the best for our sake and our neighbors sake. When we came up to this terrible clinic our hearts were breaking for him, but when we told the Vet what had happened and the prior events that happened she responded with "We never gave him a chance." We gave him 7 years of not being stuck in an adoption center and not being in a pound. This was already a hard enough decision to make and this place only seemed to worsen it. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone due to their terrible communication skills.
