There is an issue with CVS, the minute clinic or their pharmacy every single time I use them. I took a 7 year break and gave them another try and was met with the same exact experience as usual. The employees will take zero accountability for these issues and pass it off on someone else. I would not reccomend CVS to anyone.
My child was seen at the minute clinic with walking pneumonia and flu. I allowed the clinic to send her 5 prescriptions to the pharmacy there to expedite the process and get her home. Updating her insurance was a night mare and took over 30 minutes because their computers locked up multiple times. I left and came back through the drive thru to get the meds after I got a text. They threw 2 of the prescriptions out the window and told me the clinic never sent the others. Funny because the guy who updated my insurance saw them. They told me they would not contact the clinic to get them resubmitted and that was my responsibility. I parked and went back in to the clinic and watched the nurse send them over again. I went out and back through the drive thru where they told me that they had them and they would be another 30 minutes. I told them I would wait. Here comes the pharmacist telling me I am holding up the line. Excuse me — what? Your company’s incompetence is holding up the line. He asked me where he could transfer them to because apparently he was not going to fill them. I said hyvee. I leave and go to hyvee. They tell me the meds were sent over and they started filling them but then cvs cancelled the transfer. What a company!
Apparently I am going to have to take my child to another urgent care to get the meds she needs.

Supposed to be open at 8 and they aren't employees are behind the counter at the time they should be open but they have it closed if they open at 8 that means they should get to work before it's time to open to prepare to open unprofessional didn't want to give them one start but that's the only way you can do a review

Too many shelves were empty. Everything else about CVS was great, especially the discounts.

This place is terrible. Always understaffed. Always a long line for the pharmacy inside and out. It’s been this way for a long time. If I could give it negative stars I would. Save yourself a ton of time and hassle and go somewhere else.
Edit: They will also change their policy from one day to the next regarding the drive through and coming inside. One day it’s drive through only during business hours. The next day it’s you must come inside to fix their errors and if you don’t and try to handle through the drive through they will call the police on you.
When you go inside to talk to the manager it’s this is our policy even though it changes from day to day. Their excuse is always the same , we are understaffed. If you wait 30 minutes in the drive through they will just shut the window and leave everyone who has been waiting hanging without their prescriptions.
This was not for routine prescription medicine. It was for a very sick person that really needed it that night 30 minutes before close. Poorly run and managed. It’s no wonder they are closing these sorry ass establishments all over the country.

I received a message to pick up prescriptions after 5pm. I went At about 5:15 the first time and they said they were not ready and to come back in 30 minutes. Now, I’m pretty sick and need to be in bed, but I wait and in 40 minutes I get a text saying they are ready. I go Up to the pharmacy and the three people working in the back show absolutely no expressions on their face, they move very slowly and then are rude when speaking to you. The order was NOT complete and she didn’t even show two of the three that I had Been notified about. She then tells me to go to drop off and wait. I waited till I could Not any longer. I left and will have to go back tomorrow. Not only will I not have any medication tonight, but I will never go back to CVS after I pick up my meds tomorrow. Walgreens and Walmart might be slow, but they’re kind, have a smile on their face and treat you nicely. My insurance requires me to go to CVS to get the special discount. I don’t even care about the special discount, I’ll pay full price if I have to. This younger generation has no idea what customer service is all about. And the pharmacist does nothing to train them appropriately.

My doctor sent over a few prescriptions and when I checked the status on the app it said to reach out to the pharmacy. So I call the pharmacy and the conversation goes as follows:
CVS : Hello
Me : Hello
CVS : What do you want
Me : Is This CVS pharmacy on noland
CVS : Yes
Me : Is that how you answer your phone?
CVS: Yes I am busy helping someone else can you hurry up and tell me what you want so I can finish helping my customer.
No Calvin I can't, because no amount of training can help a miserable person.
Time to move on to somewhere else. I understand how understaffed these locations are and how busy they are. That does not excuse your behavior towards your customers. Unfortunately this is the new normal

Employees in the pharmacies are almost always the best. On the other hand you have to go through all the hoops. That would be the voice response thingy. You know what number to call me back on but you cannot realize I most certainly have had the app for years. If you kept up with customer demand for medicine that would be customer service. As it appears you are handling all the small things first. Please don't close more stores until the remaining stores can handle all the customers and their needs. Once again somehow you have managed to keep some great employees. Just try and think about us the customer maybe as your first concern.

They are now refusing to run coupons for insulin and require you to request they run the coupon every time that you pick up your meds. They are too lazy or incompetent to make sure that things are done correctly. This if you are not paying attention will cost you more money. In my case it will be $500 per year in extra cost due to their incompetence.

The clerk, Cody, said he recorded our tax exempt status to both transactions but he illegally charged us tax on both of them, $0.12 on the $2.00 one and $0.66 on the $7.27 one. I saw this when I got all the way back to the ministry and the tickets showed the taxes and totaled $2.12 and $7.93 respectively. We are owed $0.78 in our legal tax exemption.
