Your employees shouldn't be telling customers at 9:48pm that they close in two minutes. Nor should they be locking the store before 10pm to make sure nobody walks in unless its one of their friends from another store. I feel sorry for the woman that walked in to be told they were closed before having even been close to 10pm.

This is the WORST DOLLAR GENERAL!!! Bunch of no good kids working there with no customers service. There is always a line and they continue to only use one register. No one wears name tags so can't drop any names. I don't know how corporate lets this store run so poorly.

Came in to do a western union transfer. Gray haired woman was very rude and wouldn't do it even when I signed into the app. She ignored me and started checking out the next customer. I called her a b***** and told her to learn how to do her job. I do not feel bad she earned the name and should look for a different job

If I could give zero stars I would. There's hardly every anyone that works there in the store. They're always outside smoking who knows what with the area homeless. I don't know if the white lady with red hair is high on meth every time I go in or what but this store is a hot mess. There's absolutely no management going on. Time to clear house and start over.Skip over this Dollar General at all costs. There's one on every corner in Independence. You'll find a better one elsewhere.

They are racist, they lie on other workers, threatening other workers, have their children there while they are at work, talk about other workers , to cudomers! They all need to be fired, apologized to the young lady they was threatening! Svumbagd.

This is my go-to Dollar General because it's super close to my house. They have what I need 99% of the time; if they don't I usually knew it was a long shot going in.They always have something on sale that I decide I need for some reason or other.Example: It's a great place to get planters. Which isn't to say they carry a lot of planters. They do not. 50% off mug? Drill a hole in it: now it's a planter. Plastic basket? Add some holes: now it's a planter! Serving tray? Now it's a repotting tray. You get the point. Their lack of planters doesn't mean it's not a great place to get planters.Also, cheap Gatorade. Summer is coming. Stay hydrated.
