I don’t know the name of the guy that helped me today, but I came in today (new years day 2026 around 4pm) needing help locating a screw for an m.2 drive for my motherboard. The young guy I spoke to said to let him check if he had any and went to the back, took a few minutes, and came back with the screw in a bag saying to check it out and see if it worked but he wasn’t sure. He also looked at another item I had been looking at and told me it wouldn’t work so I didn’t have to waste my time.
I went home to use the mount screw and it worked perfectly, and was the exact screw I needed. Most customer service reps would have told me they don’t have it and I need to buy it online somewhere which would be reasonable, but the extra effort this guy went to was very appreciated by me. I shoulda asked his name but I forgot. Management, give this guy his flowers please

This store kept robbing me for finance charges we finally came to an agreement that if I paid half they would write the other half off and they were supposed to close my account. I guess at the same time the geek squad put another charge on a closed account. I have had to deal with their collection agency every since then. Just recently one of their people told me what to do and that didn't work. Best buy passed me around like a hot potato and eventually just told me to call back later.im handicapped, end stage kidney failure, old, and don't know what to do anymore. My advise is run in any other direction.

Do not shop here! You can not contact them by phone for any reason. We traded in a phone and they didn't factory reset it in front of us and we failed to do it ourselves and now they are live viewing my ring cameras and I have no way to contact them. All customer service calls go straight to India to a very rude person.

Workers at geek squad were very nice and helpful but they installed windows for me which cost $100 than made me go by a key online for $140.

I've never had to have a computer repaired and therefore had no idea where to go or what to do with a computer hard drive failure. I went to Geek Squad in Independence MO and spoke with Talen. He did a lot of research for me and gave me great advice - saving me a lot of time and money. He is customer service at its best!

We paid 250 dollars per their price for TV mounting. Day before installation guy called and Said there will be extra 130 dollars because it is above fireplace. Crooked business policy

My 91 year old mother contacted geek squad because her password was not working when trying to log into her computer. A kid came out and assured her he would fix it. After over an hour he charged her a $100.00 and said he'd be right back. Of course that never happened for he never came back That aggravates the hell out of me when the younger generations are guilty of elder abuse especially my own Mother.A refund is all we are requesting for after several hours of I trying several options... I finally figured it all out without geek squad's help.l

I have 2 TVs and an air fryer that need repaired. On the website I was only able to schedule one device, not kowing if I have to schedule the other two separately. Calling is no good due to automation so I never found out the answer other than I need to schedule online. Today I went with all three. Upon arriving I asked for help to get them out of my vehicle to just be handed a cart. In regards to the air fryer I was told it would be better to just buy new. Didn't even get the chance to bring it in the store. Upon entering with the two TVs the first question was if I'm here to trash them.... getting to the Geek Squad desk no one was there . There were also no customers in front of me. When a worker finally got to me, I was told that they cant work on any of it if not purchased or under warranty at their store, which is completely different from what I remember. I feel like it was a waste of time, effort, gas, and money on my part. I'm highly disappointed! However, if you all don't want to do your job and make money then by all means go out of business.

Person I talked to on phone said they could fix my phone screen and they referred me to my mobile provider or a different place which also said they couldn't fix it. (Just the outside screen on the v60 thinq dual screen so basically the phones screen case) which wasted my time because I made an appt after being told they could fix it
