Had a doctor call in a script, a day before I ran out of my meds. When I went to pick it up they didn’t order it, said they didn’t have my insurance info. I pay out of pocket, and now I don’t have access to my medication.

If I could post less than one star I would. Staff is friendly enough but they NEVER have your prescriptions ready on time. I needed Albuterol for a lung infection and it took them two freaking days to fill it. Normally I'm not impatient for meds being filled, and I really try to be understanding. But literally can't breathe without hacking up a lung, and they're asking me to wait. Never getting meds here again.

I had a antibiotic sent in On Thurs. To be delivered on Fri. They did not deliver the medicine. They claimed they had called Fri a.m.and no one answered so they didn't send it out. I have no record of them calling me and I was
home all day. I'm elderly and have no one to pick it up. I'm going to have to wait until Monday to get my antibiotics. That's 3 days I could have been taking it and starting to feel better but I'm still waiting for it?? They had my cell phone number they even read it to me over the phone when I called to see why it wasn't delivered.

Called in needing help with giving in my insurance information. Got hung up on twice. When I called back in and asked for their name and job title they just hung up on me again. Completely unprofessional and rude customer service

Pharmacy does a horrible job of informing and updating the public on their forever changing hours. Pharmacy closes at 8pm, it was shut down at 2pm for fake holidays. Some people have regular schedule medications. Laughable that I get an alert that my sons medication is ready only to show up 1 hour later to a PAPER sign that they are closed. Update your voicemail, update your online hours. This is not accessible for anyone. Waste my money and time by not simpley updating the technology that is there to make it accessible. This hyvee keeps getting worse and worse this year of 2024. When medications have short pick up times and the pharmacy is closed for 2 days, my insurance blames me and fights re-submitting medications after their void pick up time. Thank you for failing to make things accessible for the normal 8-5 worker.

Don't go to this pharmacy! I have had nothing but problems with them to the point that they with held the mood stabilize pills for my mentally ill bipolar father for NO reason. So when I had finally had enough and transfered his pills to another pharmacy they won't release his pills. I am at the end of my rope all I can say is 1 withholding meds when I have an active prescription is not only illegal is amoral and Incredibly irresponsible!
I should be clear this has only happend at the independence Hy-vee my friends have had luck at other ones. Or maybe this is an age discrimination thing my father is over 65.

There is a pharmacist at the Hyvee on 23rd St in independence. His name is Viraj he is the nicest, most helpful man, he goes above and beyond for his customers. There are not many people that have his attitude and patience. He is truly an asset to this company. If I could I would give him a raise. He is amazing and should be acknowledged for it. Thank you

I called at 1212 to ask when my husband Zofran would be filled. The lady on the phone said 45 minutes and it would be done. I am here at 407 and they are saying that it’s not filled, and it won’t be filled until a truck gets here. waste of time, waste of gas. It’s been 4 hours.

You guys need to fix the pharmacy part of your app. It only showed 1 of my 5 prescriptions I get filled there. Also, it won't let me schedule a vaccine. To top it off, I've called 5 times in the last 2 days and waited for someone to answer the phone and they didn't. Finally the automated voice told me they were busy doing other things but like I said I called them 5 times. Super frustrating especially the part about the app. This store is just not run very well in general.
