I grew up in the area and have recently returned after 25 years of living in Illinois and Texas. I held a high opinion of Hyvee as a great place to shop for groceries. I was sadly disappointed by this visit as i try to find the store i will shop regularly. The produce section was sparse and frankly gross due to the smell and hundreds of gnats on the produce especially the onions. It was like shopping in an open outdoor market. Y'all need a new produce manager. I was in so much shock that I did not shop any other area of the store. So sad to see a once bright cheery well stocked store fall to this level.

Hy-Vee is typically my favorite grocery store, until its time to check out, where are all the cashiers? Yall are starting to feel a little bit too corporate, if i wanted that experience id just go to walmart! (Please for the love of God, dont ruin your image.) And seriously its 2025 why do your paper bags NOT have those convenient little handles? Aside from that Staff is friendly, the store is clean, food selection is great. Please just hire some cashiers, and pretty please get those paper bags w/ handles.

There bakery is getting so bad.how do you sell doughnuts that are burnt,with little icing.and no selection at 730 am come on hyvee get your standards up again.

7/26/25 Guy working in Deli....slicing meat, helping customers, and using his cell phone....(1) slice meat, (2) handle cheese & meat (3) use phone!!! All with the same gloves on!!! 13.99 for a pound of meat and the guy is using his cell phone!!! How long before someone gets really sick!!!! I know I will be NO LONGER buying from the Deli....This happened w/3 customers

Sooooo disappointed! The cake was cute with a beach theme, but it had the nasty whipped frosting that nobody in my family likes and I had specified butter cream when I ordered. When you pay this much for something, you expect it to be right.

Convenient, great options. Especially nice for the health conscious when it comes to gf. They even have some seed oil free food as well
