As a Black woman with deep roots in this country—my family lineage dating back to the 1800s—I've been doing business with this Postmaster and her staff for over four years. Not once have I experienced any of the racist behavior being alleged, nor have I witnessed it directed at other Black customers.
Until I see it for myself—or hear it directly from the Black business owner next door, who interacts with her regularly—I'm calling this what it looks like to me: baseless and misleading.”
