Had to go to Maryville, Mo, since Saint Joseph Mo doesn't have a Marshall's. How is that? But then went to Independence to exchange an item. I like the store & spent too much both times I went recently. They just need a store in Joe Town!

I went there to look for a "leather" purse for my daughter for her birthday. They had exactly what I wanted. I had already been to two other major named department stores looking for "name brand" or "real leather" purses. No one seems to sell them like they used to.I was at MARSHALL'S about ten minutes till closing. I get to the purse department and all of them were either not real leather or just not what I had in mind. Just as the lady said over the intercom that they were closing right then, I saw this gorgeous Italian leather purse. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Of course the real leather and more expensive ones are chained to the wall of the purses. I didn't see anything else I liked, so I went to the front as they were turning the lights off inside. I stood in line to pay for something else and I looked over to the manager and asked if she could get a purse unlocked for me. She sent her assistant with me to show her which purse I wanted. The manager didn't have to do that, they were already closed. I appreciated all the ladies that helped with getting me that purse to give to my daughter for her birthday.The purse was such a beautifully made purse, with such soft leather, but not too soft.I gave it to her yesterday, June 29th. She LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I was thrilled!Yes, I could spend hours in that store because they are very low priced on just about everything, lower than the main department stores.I love this store!Thank you ladies that were there at closing time on Thursday last, June 28th, 2023. I really do appreciate you for what you did, how kind you all were about doing it at closing time!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! ❤️?

It's hit n miss here on sizing. You really have to take some time and look in this place and you can find things that are good deals. All the employees we doubt with here we're very friendly and courteous

We came in 4-15-23 & we’re trying to put my Granddaughter in basket & I guess one of the employees was having a bad day. She (lady in red & black plaid shirt, brown hair) was walking over us slamming carts, she went behind the counter afterwards. Extremely rude. 1st time there is the last. Couldn’t leave 0 stars but would’ve!

Racist, on a numerous of occasions I caught them wiping down the counter that is supposed to be wiped down in between each transaction, on when African America folks left the counter and leaving up unwired when a Caucasian left the counter. This happened with three different register while just patiently waiting for our turn in line then they did it to us. Also just want to say their policy for returns is also unacceptable if someone one can prove they purchased an item even without a receipt their money should be returned. Won't shop there again.....
